Erik here! Correction: that NYC skyscraper is, in fact, One Vanderbilt, constructed between 2017 and 2020. Apologies -- I haven't been to Manhattan since 2014, and the relatively new building didn't show up on my usual sources of NYC skyscrapers. But the question remains... who took over Avengers Tower? When will the MCU tell us?

I read that nwh and hawkeye are set a year apart. So hawkeye was set Christmas 2024 and nwh is 2023. Do you know if this is true

I agree. Plus It’s a nice nod to the two that came before them. Clint and Nat were best friends; so I’d like to see Kate and Yelena continue that relationship.
Whether is be as friends or lovers I personally don’t care; just make them close. I know some people aren’t for the whole “woke” aspects of comics but I don’t mind it. I just want to care about these characters and be entertained.

Absolutely love Vincent D'Onofrio's portrayal of Kingpin. That role is synonymous with the actor. No way did Disney bring him back to kill him off and I can't wait to see more of him in upcoming MCU projects.

It doesn’t even matter to me if he was brought back and then immediately taken away, but it would bother me if he died, considering the entire emotional arc of DD season three was sparing him, and killing Kingpin would fly in the face of that

Honestly, these shows need to be like 8 episodes long or just longer. There was a lot of things they needed to wrap up. This ending was not the best but I look forward for more
I think they do it for pacing reasons. A lot viewers are impatient and aren't overly interested in exposition. They action scenes were tight and to the point. So I can't imagine anything but exposition being added to fill in the time.

Every moment between Kate and Yalena is pure screen chemistry. I am so excited to see them in a future team-up, or battle. This was a very satisfying series. Right up there with Wanda Vision.

Agreed! I personally haven’t seen great chemistry like that between two female MCU characters. Maybe Gamora and Nebula but they’ve been working for years so there was time to build that up. It’s interesting how the actress’ were able to portray Kate and Yelena as if they were longtime frenemies who secretly care for each other even though they just met one another.

I love the cinematography in Kingpin's scenes, he's never felt so intimidating.
Absolutely, and I really enjoyed it, but something about the way he's shot in this was scarier than watching him liquify a man's head.
The scene where he kills Ben Urich would like to have a word.

I swear these shows are really making me love these characters more and more as an individual character if that makes sense. Like Hawkeye, Wanda, and falcon and loki. Those characters are now like starting to be higher up on my personal favorite marvel character tier list

It was so stressful when Clint came home and nobody came to greet him at first. It felt almost like he was going to walk in and they were going to be kidnapped.
My wife said, oh no, when that happened. I thought something was going to happen too.

Actually I thought the camera was strategically angled because I expected Kate was with him and they cleverly made it look like he was alone... I actually thought maybe Kingpin had somehow gotten to his family and he and Kate would walk into his empty house.

When Kingpin gets shot, look at the reflection in the window behind him. The one with the tree. You can see him fall, at least his shadow.
Well duh, the loud thud was obviously Fisk. The off screen shot was an obvious tv trope they intentionally used.
I mean wether or not he’s dead any regular human( or semi normal) would fall over from getting shot directly in the eye, plus kingpin is smart he could have pretended to be dead to trick maya
Honestly, if Kingpin is dead, I'll be really upset. There is so much potential for his character. He could be the glue to connect all corners of the MCU on Earth

I loved both of kate bishops fight scenes in this last episode they were great
one of the few “details you missed” series that actually lives up to that name and doesnt just point out obvious things, hardworking channel 🙏
but they also missed a few things.
I love how the stepdad got to be a badass haha, doesnt hold a grudge is just down to help and fight 🤣😂
I also feel that there were many changes in the last episode leaving story arcs unfinished. Why the tracksuit bros wanted the watch? Why Armand was killed with a sword? And many more…

I'm assuming that Armand was killed with a sword to frame Jack since he has a sword collection and is highly trained with swords.
Kate says that Eleanor framed Jack. The watch though wasn't fully explained we know its Hawkeyes wife's but why they wanted it, who knows.
They obviously wanted the watch for their boss. How was that not clear?
Yes. I know they probably left a lot of things hanging to pave way for a continuation, but it felt so rushed and there were too many questions left unanswered.
Armand was killed cause kingpin wanted too it was mentioned during him and kates mom meeting and the watch I'm guessing it cause a fortune

Did anybody else think something happened to Clint’s family when him and Kate were about to walk in the house. The silence made me think something happened to them. Like Maya might have done something to them.

Nah not really. Mostly because Clint’s hearing has been going out the entire series. We had also seen Maya give up on killing Clint and going for King Pin and his goons.

The building is One Vanderbilt, the inclusion of the MetLife building was probably a mistake or them being lazy like in the Netflix shows where they didn't include avengers tower.

@@connordougherty9860 I feel they could have done more with Jack. He kinda was just there, but had no real significant part of the plot. Sure he showed off his sword fighting at the end, but was kinda oblivious to what was going on despite the earlier episodes suggesting he knew more about the shady affairs of his uncle and wife. Considering who he was in the comics, I can see how some people could feel let down.
Oh yes he did. The bladework was reasonably accurate and sword rakes across the gut like that cut very deep, if they're not treated in time you bleed out in about 15 minutes.

I absolutely love Yelena and Kate's dynamic. I want to see more of them in the future
My sister died from an overdose a few months ago, and Yelena beating the crap out of Hawkeye was so relating. I cried so hard. I know how it is to feel that much anger you want to beat whoever you feel is to blame to a pulp. And then to be reminded of the beautiful person they were was so heart warming.
I loved how this episode really showed off Kingpin’s comic book accurate strength.
The NYPD straight-up didn't exist for like 99% of this episode's duration and yet they somehow managed to evacuate the entire area.
I assumed that was all due to Kingpin clearing the area, using his connections in city government/law enforcement.
I guess they were Defunded 🤷🏽♂️
Yea for real I live in NY and u see police everywhere especially around Rockefeller center during the holidays, I think there’s a local precinct like a block away from the giant Xmas tree. What are the chances that there was no cops anywhere near that area for that long? The only plausible explanation is kingpin paid off some cops to buy himself some time
All the LARPers were NYPD and firefighters.
The tower being referenced @2:06 actually does exist, that's SUMMIT One Vanderbilt which opened this year in October I believe.

It’s a great final chapter in Hawkeyes story I just hope we can see some more from the original Avengers before they are all gone or retired.
The lateral tracking shot fight scene that both Yelena and Kate have is also similar to the one for Civil War with Captain America and the (then) winter soldier!
The camera work in that first scene was insane. Instantly noticed how they tried to play him as bigger and was so impressed.
I really hope the next time we see Vincent D,Onofrio’s Kingpin he isn’t actually blind or if he is, I hope he isn’t wearing big gauze patches over his eyes because it would be a shame if he wasn’t able to do his creepy, intimidating eye twitch anymore.
Maybe he'd be wearing smaller/custom eyepatches (or contacts) that doesn't completely cover the eyes.
I'm hoping at the "worst" it's just one eye patch so we can still see the other eye regularly

Comic accurate doesn't always translate well onto live action but I'm glad you're happy at least. I thought he was pretty underwhelming compared to Daredevil

Yeah there’s no way that Kingpin wouldn’t die from that gun scene with Maya Lopez , he’s just gonna be stunned and blinded by the shot just like how it was in the comics , that shot was a literal shot for shot from that daredevil comic
Agent 19 and the watch doesn't erase _Agents of S.HIELD_ from canon. It makes AoS S2 and onward (and if you wish, head canon-wise, the whole series) an alternate timeline with variants. And with the canon-ed _Agent Carter_ connected, it just means the diversion point for the AoS timeline was S1 or S2 (depending on your head canon), which still allows for them to reference _Agent Carter_ and some marvel movies. And if you wish to believe it they could create variants out of variants as until the MCU tells us differently and that could take care of issues in the last two season. Or maybe these variants resolved the Thanos problem, and that is why there was no blip.
AoS is compatible with the MCU right up to Infinity War. Mockingbird could be a mantle, since Laura Barton is definitely a different person from Bobby Morse.
@@Mindtruster And what I enjoy most is that your not just saying the watch, and the snap, and things like that mean AoS is now non-canon like some people do. I like the idea of Mockingbird being a mantle and only didn't mention it because I'm not good enough with math to make sure it all lines up so Laura and Bobbi weren't Mockingbird-ing at the same time.
@@Buffy8Fan Technically, non-canon is impossible in the multiverse, since multiverse by definition implies that all the possible timelines exist at once. After No Way Home and that Fox Marvel logo in the Doctor Strange 2 teaser, it is plain stupid to state otherwise.
Now, deciding which timeline is which is another issue entirely.

I think the "jump between two worlds" analogies are referencing our realm (Earth) and Giizhigong (the Native American spirit realm in Marvel Comics), which contains both dragons (Hobomokko) & eagles (Thunderbirds)

huh? You literally see all of them dead..... It's the "being killed offscreen" that suggests someone isn't actually dead. We saw Loki, Coulson, and Mysterio killed on screen, therefore they are dead.

Can anyone explain to me please how Kate was able to take so many punches from the Kingpin? He screamed during a punch, meaning that he was not holding back.
There's this thing called adrenaline, and he did hold back for most of the fight

He didn't hit any major body parts. Yeah a huge punch to the stomach will hurt but you could get up from that.

I definitely hear the thud after the shot, but I'm 90% sure that's Kingpin's shadow being cast on the building behind him and it doesn't move!
It makes 0 difference if he falls. Even if you survive, a bullet to the head will likely take you off your feet

The tower in the skyline is One Vanderbilt, which is directly west of Grand Central Terminal and started construction in 2017, topping out last year. It was scrubbed out of the skyline in earlier episodes of Hawkeye, but they missed it in this episode. Bonus miserable real estate detail- Kate Bishop's apartment is on 58th st and Park Ave, 16 blocks north of Avengers tower, but they made it look like it was on 42nd st.
Actually the opening would place the apartment at 40th not 42nd, but said opening has so many inconsistencies that it's most likely just a very mangled memory and can't be trusted
I would also like to state that in the shot where Kingpin gets "killed," the windows across the street reflect not only the light, but you can see Wilson's white tux. Once the shot rings out, the suit seems to dissapear, almost as if a body is falling backwards.
King Pin is one of my favorite villains, and that shirt just shipped today. Can't wait to get it.

This final episode seemed rushed. They had too many conflicts to wrap up. Also, a lot of questions could have been explored, like Jack and his skills, Laura's Mockingbird backstory, and why was Armand killed. They should have spread this out 2 more episodes. This was not a strong finale

I do appreciate how they shot the kingpin in Hawkeye. He felt like he was actually huge like he is in the comics, I think this was something they missed in the Daredevil series, but then again these shows have different aesthetics.
