Markers 05b: Micro Phantom with Side-Saddle 12 Gram Changer

I recently changed the configuration on my micro Phantom pretty significantly with the addition of a side-saddle ICD lever changer setup from Apocalypse Paintball Designs. These were made in a VERY limited run a few years ago, so if you see one available, snag it. You won't regret it. This is my new favorite CCI Phantom 12 gram configuration.

That is a wicked setup! How is the accuracy with that short of a barrel? You are probably using it pretty close anyway I'm guessing.

The short barrel is great, absolutely no problems. No better or worse than any other. Paintballs are the problem, not the barrel.

I assume the forward facing ASA is connected to the valve body with a male/male NPT fitting. How does the side saddle setup not rotate on that fitting? Is it secured to the body in some way?

I didn't do the assembly, so I'm not sure, but I wouldn't bet against red loctite

Awkward just heard 6 inches... Love it! I'm doing a build but I have an 8 inch, should be good still. What grip are you using? Looks awesome

@@nickplayspaintball Yup, 6" on there, but I also have 8", 10" and 12". Depends on how I'm feeling. The grip is a "UTG" grip? But beware, you have to shave the back down for it to fit. Super comfy though.
