Fast Plastic Dirt bike Tank Restoration at Home!

A quick diy tank restoration at home for a cheap as chips Honda CR80 project bike!
The grades of sand paper I used were grades I had about the garage at home. If the process was followed with closer grades and more time sanding the finished result would be much greater. Thanks to Mcnasty for the polishing tip!

CR 80. I've just restored one of these. 180, 320, plastic primer, 500, white base coat and then clear coat.

I have a 40 yr old tank, What I have done is take marine lead based paint 350m and first paint the tank with it. It gets absorbed into plastic. Good few coats. Then you can spray it what color you want. Wont bubble.
