@MetamorphGames The game does look fun, but if you allow one piece of feedback. I am not a big fan of the audio design. This is purely on a first time viewer basis and i cant put my finger on the exact issue though. I just feel like the fight sections use to many of the same effects and the lack of bgm makes it feel... Bland? Cheap? Im sorry i dont know. But again the gameplay looks nice so congrats on that. I hope you dont take this feedback to negative. Best of luck.
@@killkingLP Good news: almost every ability has its own unique sound effect and there is background music throughout the whole game (I'm a solo dev, but my "real job" is composing for games and other media, so I would never release my own game without a soundtrack of some sort!)
Those are the content I enjoy the most from him ngl. The time he played Against the Storm the first time got me to buy it on Epic of all places, then he did cover a bunch of indie games after that then it just kinda fizzled out.
should have mutated some rabbit frogs, there's an entire mechanic we didn't get to see and maybe the bunny bonus from bunnylord and frog bonus from that one permanent passive stack
This looks like a game you sit down intending to just try out and then sink an entire day into it before forgetting about it for about a decade only to remember it at random, pick it back up, and waste an entire day on it again.
This game looks super fun, I hope you do more videos for your channel of it! Also, something that occurred to me while you were playing, although idk how possible it is with the game's economy, but the other rabbit path that wasn't the bunny lord was supposed to be combat focuses, I bet some of those following you around getting the AOE buff from the bunny lord class would be gross! If you had enough exp to level them up.
Yes, scorpions and spiders are both considered to be arachnids (belonging to the Arachnida clade, along with mites, ticks, harvestmen, and a few lesser-known clades). They are not closely related though; they diverged around 400 million years ago, which is about 50 million years before the common ancestor of amphibians, reptiles, and mammals first started living on land.
@@PotatoMcWhiskey I once had a large, black desert scorpion sitting on my hand (large scissors, low poison) and they are fascinating creatures. More importantly I would have died from my arachnophobia having a spider halve the size sitting there. Their feet are surprisingly soft, totally not like a crustacean.
We're more closely related to amphibians and reptiles than spiders are to scorpions. Spiders and scorpions diverged from each other about 400 million years ago, not long after they started living on land (which is long before our common ancestor with amphibians and reptiles started living on land).
9:45 When you said it makes sense for spider to evolve into scorpion, I thought you were crazy, when you said they're from the same family, I thought you were wrong. But seed of doubt was planted, and I checked Wiki... I did not expect to learn something new from this video:D P.S. mites are also considered Arachnid, and ticks are part of mite superorder (I thought they were "parallel")
100% of the game plan was becoming a giant fire jackalope & popping out rabbits like Mary Toft. I'd be down to see another run, but actually using the essences and elements and not just hording.
As a person that absolutely loves dungeon core books, I am very happy to try this game out. Thank you for the video! Books I recommend for starters: Dungeon Born series by Dakota Krout The Crafters Dungeon series by Jonathan Brooks There are many more, but these are the ones I remember very well.
This reminds me of the game Outpost that came out a few years ago. Similar game cycle of exploration for power ups / resources and tower defense. Like the spin Chrysalis put on it, thanks for the video.
The bunnies that you summon with your skill don't count against your follower count, and also aren't affected by the "teleport to home" skill. They also don't go through the portal with you between levels. So using the Bunnilord effectively gives you extra followers, but with slightly less power.
The way to win in final stage is to have a level 15 minion with +15 elemental enhancement (unlocks avatar), cause in last stage 7 4/4 there will be 3 bosses coming into your base
I vibe with the concept and aesthetics of the game immensely but within 5 minutes I can tell that the mechanics are far beyond my grasp unless I played the game myself.
My favorite part is when he builds out defenses around the Chrysalis and then immediately abandons the area when the battle starts and chases enemies all over the map. 😂
This game has some big Space Station Silicon Valley vibes and I'm so here for it. I'll probably pick it up. If y'all enjoy this, check out Space Station Silicon Valley for the N64 too. It's a underappreciated masterpiece.
Totally thought this was a Crystalis remake at first and was very disappointed. However it looks like a fun game I'll have to check it out this weekend.

Ngl, I would be very down for Potato to just start covering random indie games he likes.
Same. Like indie sunday or something. One day a week a random indie or two. And you know it will mean the world to the devs for the exposure.
