Yeah , my 1st day was sooo depressing... but hey , it's gonna come to you easy safe steps though... All the Best and Keep on Rocking in the Freebord ;) Try it everywhere , even at home inside the house, then you'll get it.
This is one the the most in depth videos I could find talking about weight distribution and pivoting, thanks a lot! I can't wait for my 2nd stab at it. The bindings are a bit intimidating even with my small prior experiences with snowboarding. I've grown too used to the ability to bail with a regular skateboard and snow hurts a lot less than concrete 😅Any recommendations for over-pivoting? I feel like once I start rotating, I can't stop spinning so my stops are too abrupt.
Center your balance or slightly heavy on the back foot helps over pivot. Together coupled with keeping your shoulders parallel in a line with you desired direction. If you turn your head, arms, shoulders then your going to turn the freebord

That's actually insane progress for just 6 minutes. Good instruction for sure

I feel like their first question should be "can you snowboard?" then just tell them it's the same mechanics, then tell him what is different.

Where is this at? It looks like a campus in Utah, and the license plates seem to confirm.
