My friend Kim Wilson is Richard's niece. 3 will always be Dale's number. This was awesome. Rest in peace Dale. We miss you. I love Nascar. Thank you, Jordan, for bringing us here and letting us get a look at all the wonderful things they on display. Stay safe and take care.
Please tell Kim Wilson Hello from all of Dale Earnhardt's and Richard Childress' fans :) We miss and love Dale always, we also love R.C as well, he and Dale were awesome best friends and without one, the other is missing a big part of himself ♥
By the way, Jordan a HUGE "Thank You" for this tour.... FANTASTIC job on this one, buddy!!! HUGE Dale Earnhardt fan here as with so many others. Dale will always be (what I like to personally call) Mr. NASCAR!!! There will never be another Dale Earnhardt, he really re-defined NASCAR and reshaped the sport of Stock car racing forever!!
Thanks for taking us on this tour of what is quite literally Mecca for NASCAR & Dale Earnhardt fans. So many incredible cars! That was truly a rewarding experience. It's a shame that you were unable to visit the Earnhardt museum. Maybe another day. 🦁❤
Thanks for sharing Jordan! He was fun to watch race! It was hard watching his last race. At least you can say he passed away doing what he loved! RIP Dale!
Been here a couple few times & hope to keep going back for May years to come. One the right day My wife & I have the whole place to ourselves. Super peaceful & honestly never gets old.
@@DazewithJordantheLionthat’s awesome! It did the same for my wife. She didn’t realize how much she’d enjoy till after the first trip. We’re gonna try to hit SHR & Hendrick in the coming months. We’re close enough for them to be day trips. We just pick a random weekday & usually have it all to ourselves.
@@DazewithJordantheLionALSO I HAVE OVER 300 DIECAST CARS AND 80 PERCENT OF THEM ARE DALE EARNHARDT SR AND JR CARS LOL I HAVE THE BIG SCALE 2001 CORVETTE FROM THE 24HR DAYTONA RACE AND I HAVE THE DEI AND RICHARD CHILDRESS 1/5 SCALE MOTORS LOL THE EARNHARDT TRAIN SET AND RICHARD CHILDRESS MUSEUM CARS LOL A LOT OF MONEY IN DIECAST CARS.
Thank you Jordan this was wonderful! I was a big dale Earnhardt fan And it broke my heart when he died in fact so much that I never watched racing again! I would watched NASCAR all my life with my dad But that was just too much too much after that. He was 1 hell of a racer And times it was not easy being a fan of his because of the controversy that surrounded his so called rubbing Which is racing!
It took him 20 years to win the Daytona 500. When he did all the crew members from all the teams lined up to congratulate him. I was watching the 500 when he was killed. A very sad day.😢 Thats when i became a Dale jr fan. There is a great statue of Sr in Kannapolis i have visited.
Another really interesting and entertaining vlog. Never cease to be amazed at all these terrific museums you find. Many thanks Jordan and safe travels.
Really nice video. Our working man's hero. All Dale ever wanted to do was race. And maaan did he. Not too bad for a small town man who excelled to the level of Legend. His daddy was the best on dirt, Dale was the best on pavement. And Ralph's grandson wasn't too bad either. GOD BLESS ALL "3."
This was fantastic. They have it set up so well to tell the history. Fun story..my husband met Richard in an elevator while we were staying at South Point Casino/Hotel for a NASCAR race. Just the two of them in the elevator and he was so friendly & funny. He asked Gary why we were there & wanted to know where we were from, etc. They talked for quite a while. He could not have been nicer to my husband. We'd been following his career since the early 70's so this was really special for Gary. There is a great documentary/movie about the day Dale died. It's call In the Blink of an Eye. It's done by Michael Waltrip who was his closest friend and who worked for Dale & who also won the race that tragic day. Lots of really interesting information that no one knew until Michael decided to tell his story. Thanks Jordan!
One cool thing- that trailer was parked there after Dale died and was literally never touched again. Everything in there looks exact as it came off the track and back from Daytona.
My dad worked for RCR for 18 years as a front end suspension tech on Kevin Harvicks race car. I used to go with him to work and you would always see tours coming through looking through all the windows! I never knew what was going on as a kid 😂
Now it's time to head down to Petty's place and see some more NASCAR history. I was just down there this morning to drop off some models I built for signatures
@@Johnny-mq3moshe went from First Lady to the Public Enemy #1..that's a huge fall from grace, and I am dumbfounded as to why she would do that to herself ..😢
I can take you by some Dale Earnhardt spots here in Kannapolis NC. Childhood home where the famous garage is. Where he got his haircut and mustache trimmed. Where Ralph and Martha are buried. Where he went to school. Some other places of interest
The 2000 talladega win car I never got I actually see that race but the car was brought back for the 2019 dega race to pace the field with Richard driving it I was there and the sound of that car was such a healthy sound loved that I was able to experience the sights and sounds that weekend
Jordon, you can make a series of VLogs just going around NC to the different race shops. Childress and Hendricks have two of the best. Sometimes you get lucky and get to meet the driver.
@@DazewithJordantheLion You were in my neck of the woods. Richard has a nice museum as well. I hope while you were in Welcome. You stopped in Lexington and ate some barbecue.
I remember when Richard Childress had the "duct taped" 3# that Dale rolled at I think it was Daytona. Dale was sitting on the back bumper of the ambulance when they rolled the car back on to its wheels and told them to see if it would start. When it did he got in it and drove it to the pits where they put it back together with duct tape and bearer bond so he could finish the race. I wonder where that car is now?
I was at Daytona the day Dale Earnhardt (The Intimidator), there was a huge accident earlier between Bobby Labonte and Tony Stewart and I thought that was the worst accident. I have some great photos of Dale walking on pit road and hanging out with his crew. It was shocking losing Dale Earnhardt. There is now a statue of him at Daytona Speedway.
This may be something crazy but I bet in the movie cars lightning McQueen's blowout like 100 ft from the finish line is supposed to be a reference to exactly what happened to Dale except lightning McQueen blew his back tires I don't know if this is even true but just thought it may be possible
EDIT: they DO NOT have the car he passed in Richard has went on record saying he sunk it in a lake so Noone would ever use it as a morbid money maker ...much respect but at same time it was history
I hate to tell Dale Earnhardt I watch the Sun and I watched his dad race and let me tell you he was The Terminator Michael waltrip won that race I need to tell Dale Jr can you take me to the hospital in Dale Dallas car is in the museum

Great video's bro. Honestly I like your videos thank you. For the details....
Besides Wrestling my next favorite thing is NASCAR and Dale and his son Jr are my favorite Drivers
The bass pro shops , wrangler jeans , and rainbow car are all -star race cars
I dearly loved this, thank u
DEI is always closed and I have no idea what Teresa does with the place anymore.
One of buildings next to it makes race parts called Earnhardt technologies
Teresa needs to reopen it. She knows the fans want it but she doesn’t care.
That's good to know. When I see cars there and ask no one ever had a clue.
Teresa is Enemy #1 in NASCAR

Another great one. Now it would be cool to do some of the raceways
So cool! I didn’t get to go there. I went to dei and jr Motorsport. They are worth checking out also. Thanks for sharing!!!

Nice Reds hat Jordan going to any Reds Games this year
dude this is my hometown where I grew up.
Great Video -- I'm curious what year did RCR move away from the Red Chassis....

One of the places I want to see
The legendary vehicles 😃
Hey Jordan the Dale Earnhardt inc place has been closed since Covid 19 and have not said anything if and when they will reopen
Next time you're in Carolina, please go to junior motorsports.Go to Dale junior shop.I wanna see junior shop
You were in my neighborhood in Welcome and Greensboro I live in Burlington 23 or they about to Greensboro i'm not sure how far from Burlington Welcome
It feels like missing a band almost knowing you're close. Just saying😎✌️🤟
Richard Childress also owns a wine vineyard
I went there in 2020. The lucky penny is still in the Daytona 500 car. The girl's picture is propped up on the tire.
RCRM does *NOT* display the 01 Daytona 500 car. Richard has it, but will not reveal its location.
I have an empty box of Wheaties with Dale on it.
did you get to talk with chocolate Myers
