I loved all your videos before but I used to go to nascar technical institute in mooresville and work for Richard petty driving experience. Me and you just came full circle my friend
Thank you so much for sharing this excellent documentary on Richard Petty & family. Amazing souvenirs too. Chrome card signed was $1 👀 . Museum was FANtastic 🎉
Richard Petty is a great guy, I met him in the Daytona Raceway pits, I had a person that was in awe of him (I was working for Nascar then) and mentioned that he was this guy's favorite driver since the STP days. Richard went over to the man and said, "can you take a photo of us with his camera?" I said, "Of course" and he then signed the man's program. Richard Petty walked around the pits and smiled at everyone. Not only a championship driver but a really good guy!
The best tour of Richard Pettys museum I've seen, fantastic video, and man he is extremely generous with his pricing, absolutely amazing, thankyou very much really appreciated the video Jordan, I'd dream to go there, but I'm in my sixties so time is running out, all the best 😊 Cheers 🍻🍻🍻KC Cradle Mountain 🏔Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🤝🇺🇲😊😎👍
For $11 that’s a heck of a experience. Amazing place and history. There will never be anyone else like Richard Petty. That’s pretty cool that he makes his autographed items so accessible to everyone. I’ve always heard he loved to do autographs and he would sign for everyone after a race.
Great video Jordan. The Petty Family is legendary in racing and you did them justice with this video. Thank you for visiting North Carolina and including the Petty Museum.
Great video. I was lucky enough to see Richard racing at Darlington in the late 80’s. And saw him recently in Carlisle Pennsylvania at the Mopar show. I’m a massive fan of the King.
I love that Richard Petty is more happy bringing his fans joy by making his autographs and museum fees so affordable. He could probably charge triple those prices and still move the same volume. As great of a driver as he was, he's an even better person!
That's what I hear! Anytime I mentioned going to Richard petty's, everyone I encountered had nothing buy great stories about meeting him somewhere. I'll definitely go back.
I have been a fan of Richard’s since the late 70’s. This is a must visit for me. Thanks for the great video. I can’t believe his autographed items go for so inexpensive. Unheard of these days. Thanks again Jordan.
Another great video Jordan. I can't believe sells the pictures so cheap. The family is a true legend. Thanks for sharing and taking us along on your wonderful adventures.
This was an amazing museum, so many cool things we didn’t know where to look in the video there was so much to see. and I can’t believe he’s doing signed autographs for just a few dollars. We need to find our way out there to check it out and get a signed picture💙
Thank you for doing this one. The Pettys were my favorite racing family. Too bad Adam died so young. It would have been great watching him like I did his grandfather and dad.
Another really interesting and enjoyable vlog. The autographed photographs were a nice touch - way better than a fridge magnet. Many thanks for this visit Jordan.
Fantastic video Jordan I am impressed. You have come a long way about cars and nascar. I grew up racing a little but it's always been in my blood Well sir you your lovely have a great week You two make a great couple
Thank you Jordan for doing this video it was great Richard is a true legend in NASCAR! I went to a race years ago in 1992 in Dover Delaware and Richard and Kyle were both racing And there was a wreck and everyone kind of piled up and Richard was out on the track wearing only 1 boot yelling at the other drivers they were involved in the wreck Cause he was too!
The original 43jr barracuda drag car was crashed when he was racing Arnie the Farmer Beswick and some spectators were killed. That car got buried in the ground there on the property. The one in the museum is the one he finished the season with because he had a contractual commitment.
This is neat...!! I've never seen this museum before. Do you see those two old scales holding that old car up? We have one of those old scales. My husband had it restored a few years ago. 😃 Seeing all those blue 1970's Dodge Chargers reminds me of when my mom met and her 2nd husband. They both drove a 1970's blue Dodge Chargers. I used to love to watch Nascar races. I don't watched it much anymore since we don't have cable TV anymore. Bummer...!! 😏 Great video Jordan...!! 💙💙💙💚💚💚
My dad loved racing. He went to all the Indy 500 from the late 60's to around early 80's. Back in the early day peicould just go down to the pits snd walk around. My dad has a collection of the Indy event books from the first time he went. Many have signatures in them from some of the big name racers. My dad also was setting right in front when Sweed Savage crashed and unfortunately died. He happened to click a pic when Sweed crashed. We had that pic in his gun case until the 90's. I'll have to see if dad has Petty:s autograph in one o the event books.
Just to clarify, my dad didn't take the pic of Sweed because of the horrible accident. This was back in the day when the cameras had to be wound to get to take a next pic. My ad just happened to take a pic at the exact same time Sweed hit the wall and burst into flames. Unfortunately yes Sweed died from that accident.
Lived in a roadside motel turned into apartments down the road from his races hop in 1971 or 1972 I met the King he said it was still the but I do not remember the name.
You know what we drove to the place and we went over a hill it was looking we went in a time zone the house all.the older garage but where they built the car i was expecting like a huge modern building that guy we said was iowa and 1 guy took us back where the garages was he said he wasnt suposed to do it but i have pictures of all what i can see threw the window think the was richards relitive the was class act
You might went by Richard Petty's house His museum and his house half mile maybe a mile to each other You came from Greensboro and I live in Burlington Which is 24 miles to Greensboro
They had the car he barreld roll at the daytona 500 and he was talking about he was having fun and when he wrecked at daytona his wife said are having fun yet
When was there they said if lee is out sitting wave at him and he might invite you over for a chat but he wasnt out side i also but a picture and he said we got to keep it and when richard will sign it and we will.send it he sign every thing 2 month later i got the card sign from him
Met Richard at Michigan in 1986. He was always my favorite driver. When I played football, I wore #43 proudly because of him. I've been collecting memorabilia since the late '60's. Very classy, and approachable. I have pictures with him, and video tape. He WAS my favorite sports personality....my hero....... Now he's partnered with Jimmy Johnson, and Legacy Motorsports. Running a Toyota in Nascar. IMHO a slap in the face to America, and her automobile manufacturers. After 54 years, I quit. #43 on a Japanese car. Saddest day ever in sports to me........😭😭😭😭😭
Love Richard Petty, a true king of stock cars, brings me back to my youth when I followed all the racing. Ty Jordan great visit 🤗🥰. 43 forever
I. Like to buy this house
Hey Steve play finest bush I'll buy it with everything in it Diane if it don't make anything we'll close it and take all the stuff I'd like to keep it open but doesn't mean that Ruby Giant I need Steve Turner Pat Perry yeah I want to keep it open for NASCAR people NASCAR do you want to talk to you got a deal yeah yeah I want to buy it
I met the king at victory junction (a special needs camp) back in 2012! One of the greatest moments of my life!
I betcha that was an experience.
I loved all your videos before but I used to go to nascar technical institute in mooresville and work for Richard petty driving experience. Me and you just came full circle my friend
I actually drove down Richard Pettys driveway half way down it and turned around real fast. It was amazing!!!

Hopefully the Petty Racing Business will see its 100th anniversary.
I had the pleasure of meeting Richard at the museum in 2018. He is a great guy, very fan friendly.

Richard Petty fan for 50 years and more. Sad to see what's happening now to NASCAR it sucks

As a Nascar fan I loved this video. Nascar wouldn't be what it is today without Lee n Richard Petty. Thanks Jordan ❤
If you can’t make it to his museum you can send a SASE and they’ll give you a 8x10 autographed hero card for free. It will come back pretty quick too.
I have been a fan of Richard’s since the late 70’s. This is a must visit for me. Thanks for the great video. I can’t believe his autographed items go for so inexpensive. Unheard of these days. Thanks again Jordan.

The original 43jr barracuda drag car was crashed when he was racing Arnie the Farmer Beswick and some spectators were killed. That car got buried in the ground there on the property. The one in the museum is the one he finished the season with because he had a contractual commitment.
I think I have an old home movie my dad took at Darlington raceway of Petty in the winningest car you showed. I need to find it!
Enjoyed again Jordan Jah
Cool looking Museum.

Question: does anyone know where Vera Ellen is buried? Maybe it could be one of your stories? 🤔 ✨
Vera Ellen, the Ohio-native actress, is buried in California.
Richard is known for signing his autograph for his fans.
Nice vid Jordan
You look at them cars you wonder how they ever lived going that fast
Nice!
Nice 😊
You might went by Richard Petty's house His museum and his house half mile maybe a mile to each other You came from Greensboro and I live in Burlington Which is 24 miles to Greensboro
and I thought I was the only watch who liked watches
Years ago I built a 1/24 scale model of that #43 Pontiac 1:47. I clear coated over the decals and they started to chip. Too brittle I suppose.
I need a signed picture!

Rip adam
Bouth. Lee. And. His. Great grand. Are. Gone
And those teeth!
Didn't Adam die in 2000?
Yes
Just a damn shame that Jimmie Johnson switched them to Toyota. Now Richard has a minor share in a damn Toyota team. Hope they have a terrible season.
