@RayBowdenRides mate, if I win the lottery this week, I will buy 2 of them. One for you ( I'll have to transfer the funds) and 1 for me. 🙂🙃😊 I might have to fly over to the US and visit that shop that let you test the bikes. I'd have to be there for a month at least, you guys get modles and colours us poor Aussies only dream of.😮. Now behave on the highway Mate and don't exceed the speed limits 👍 😉
@fiorentinomario mate, the trouble is that there are many affordable bikes. It driving me (and others) 😛😜🤪😜😷 But, look at all the test rides we can have. Safe riding mate👍
I owned a 2017 V7 Special and now I own a 2023 V7 850 Special Edition. It is an absolute joy to own and ride. Super fun, but without the drama of a hyper intense racer bike. It is perfect as a daily driver and weekend fun run rider. Mine came stock with arrow exhaust that adds an extra pony and a litte more torque. The sound under throttle is magnificent. I've owned about 26 different bikes over the years, this one is truly special and will not be sold or traded in. Unless for another V7 ;)
I’m loving my V100S! Helps me keep my sanity! It was in the shop for a month because of a coolant leak, but being their first water cooled bike I was suspecting that there might be some bugs, but it’s been a great bike otherwise.
All V7 Moto Guzzi"s have oil filters I own a 2021 v7 Special and a 2023 V7 Stone Special ,Edition. I was suprised that you let it idle so long on such a hot day , you did say it felt like a 100 degrees and the engine had 2 miles on it , and reving a new engine not under load is not the best thing for a new engine , loved your descriptions of the bike , and your enthusiasm for Moto Guzzi:s .Lppking forward to seeing more of your videos , I will suscribe to your channel , and thank you for letting people know about Moto Guzzi
That is a beautiful bike! I had decided not to get one, then you post this...now it's back in the mix lol 😂. Seriously though I do love your videos and thank you for making these. Would definitely shop at Plano if I lived closer (a few states away).
That's a great looking bike, shaft drive and 5.5 gallon fuel capacity, it would make for an excellent commuter bike. It's interesting that it does not have an oil filter.
I know, It would make a AWESOME Commuter Bike!! Have a Great Day Shawn!!! Talk to again probably this weekend, I'm going to ride something that looks super fun this weekend, I'm not telling YOU- YOU will have to see for yourself!
Nice vid. Love this bike. Seriously been thinking of getting one of these since it came out but only have space for one bike at the moment unfortunately. Definitely on the wish list though.
Oh Cool, I Hear ya about out of Space, Thanks for Watching and being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch and have a AWESOME Holiday Weekend!! Don't be a Stranger!
I'm a sports bike kind of guy but that bike is a pretty smick looking one, I so would own one of these.. even if it was just for a every now and then ride.. awesome stuff ray 🤘
@RayBowdenRides it's always a pleasure watching and being a part of your channel mate, and it's all you that does all the good work my friend I just enjoy every bit of it, cheers mate u too
I rode a v7 stone a couple of months ago & loved it,so much so I am ordering the ,v7 special edition, which I think is the best looking of the v7 series.
I have a 2021 V7 Special that I bought new. Mine has the spoke wheels and twin analog gauges. Except for a few small quirks, it's been almost trouble free. It had a hesitation around 3000 rpm that developed shortly after I bought it. I had that fixed at the dealer with a mapping update. A quirk is on cold mornings the 1-2 shift is stiff until the bike warms up. Also my analog tachometer occasionally acts up (very occasionally) . I just turn the bike off and on again and its fine. Overall, I love the bike!
Ray you seem a real lot like me in your obvious love for ALL kinds of bikes! Does it have a motor and make cool sounds? If so I'm into it!! You have yourself a great weekend and ride safe!
Awesome bikes that sound like a built small block Chevy! The history behind the Mandello Eagle logo is its homage to the third founder of Moto Guzzi who don’t get to live long enough to see the brand come to life. The three guys were in the Italian Air Force in world war 1. The three of them dreamed of opening a motorcycle company after being dismissed. Sadly, Ravelli died shortly after the war’s end. Thjs background of the founders is largely in part why the engine is like an old airplane engine design. Also, moto Guzzi was the first motorcycle brand in the world to build their own and use a wind tunnel for testing. I’ve owned a couple of moto Guzzi’s and they just check all of the boxes. The beauty of Guzzi is what you see is truly what you get. There’s no gimmicks, no slick marketing, no smoke and mirrors…you get an Italian motorcycle built by proud Italians in Italy. ❤
The V7's do have an oil filter. Some one already pointed out the proper pronunciation. I own a V7lll and a Mandello. I wouldn't own anything else. There is unfortunately a lot of misinformation out there regarding the brand. kk
I know it’s subjective…but that thing just looks ugly to me. Especially the back end and huge circular taillight assembly. I think Ducati would take issue with your “Italy’s finest” comment haha.
1926 - is when Ducati's inception was. 1921 with Moto Guzzi, Hey Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻- Believe it or not I like everyone's different view , and I totally understand that people won't agree with me on a regular basis. one suggestion is you should consider doing a side view of you sitting on the bike so people can see the ergo with the reach and if you can flat foot these bikes. you need to just mention your inseam, your height, and arm length. other than that, your videos are really nice... - and also in that side shot mention how comfortable the bike is as far as the lean angle.
Great ideas, thank you my friend, I'll start working on that! Matt thank you for Watching and Commenting my friend!! Have a AWESOME weekend coming up!! Stay in Touch
Ray that looks like a work of art... typical Italian 😊

The oil filter is located on the underside of the engine sump. It's well hidden.

I wish they'd put these wheels on the Special or make some other tubeless variant.
I love Moto Guzzi and glad it's a brand not everyone knows about. Hand built in Italy on the shores of Lake Como

Hi Ray 👋👋👋🙂
Hey Derek how you doing my friend- Hope your doing well and have a great rest of your week and Weekend !! Ttys.
Does the fairing cause buffeting at the Helmet when cruising at Highway speeds?
I didn't notice any, Thanks for Watching and Commenting, Have a AWESOME Holiday Weekend!

nope still hand made at the original factory in Italy.

I can just about flat foot it with a 28" inseam on the standard saddle. Moto Guzzi do lower and higher ones in their comfort saddle range.
(that's on the V7 Stone Special)
@richbaker8371 thanks for the info my friend!!!
