Denis, thank you so much for posting these Story times ! Just catching up on all of them and they are monumental :) MF really blazed many, many trails. When he brought his 6 piece group to Lock Haven Univ. in PA. 1993, they really blew the house down. After we had a B-Day party for him at the hotel, he came and was to fun & communicative. Autographed many things, etc... I asked him if Oscar Petersons Bio was correct; Oscar said he would prank Maynard by locking him out of the HS while he went out and played the Canadian Nat. Anthem or the School Alma Mater before school on Very Cold Canadian mornings. ( He laughed, and said he had no idea this was in print. But he did verify they pranked each other). Pretty cool to have to legends at the same school like that. Anyway, keep posting. These are really great !
