I only grew 3 different Tomato bushes this year planted 3rd week of April and then 2 Cherry tomato plants sprouted from last year! I've noticed that the sucker branches usually have flowers on them. Mine are all single stems, in cages or tuteurs with strings around to act as supports. This Summer has been super hot, not much rain but after 4 days of cooler weather and rain last weekend, my Romas are prolific, as are the Cherries. I will go out this weekend and cut some leaves to allow for air circulation. On the other hand, the Zucchini gave us 3 or 4 fruits and petered out. Maybe lack of pollinization...
Hello AI CG: It's definitely the heat. We were having problems with our zucchini too. It's been a ridiculously HOT & dry summer. You might want to consider next year, adding some shade to your plants. It will definitely keep them a little cooler. Thanks for watching! Jackie and Dan
