i think everyone should move far far away from their home where they grew up for at least a year.. for me it was and is a major time for personal growth and finding out who i am , filled with very high highs and very low lows, but trust me it is worth it, you will grow and get something out of it and most likely wont regret it. i didnt move away from the comfort of my home town until the age of 25 and the only thing i regret is not doing it sooner..

I'm desperate for American friends because I feel like I'm wasting time. I do enjoy my time here and spending time with those German friends...
