You represent my era, the Ghana that I grew up in. North Labone and all that. Well captured. We loved life!

Amazing how resilient he is, having been subjected to such traumatic events. Definitely livimg with PTSD but he has obviously learnt to cope, using innate & various skills as well as having a very supportive family network. Hmmmm... it's interesting how we continue to hero worship ppl we knew, despite their shortcomings.🤔 Hopefully those painful experiences shall never happen again. Brilliant interview, as usual, Kafui❤

The Seniors military Officer's slaughtered by JJ Rawlings wasn't given a fair Court hearing
Those Officer's were wasted for no reasons
The Same thing that wicked jj Rawlings accused them of he end up doing worse than them
He became rich and lived a full life....his children's are now living in paradise while those military officers children's grow up without their father its a nightmare for them

Used to hear his voice on radio daily, when only the state was allowed to have a voice in Ghana: GBC2!

We lived at 220 North Labone Est. Opposite Major Awhaitey, next to the sub station. Charlotte Dada was our neighbour. I hope you recall the park where we all learnt to ride our bikes. Great memories!

Kafui, you should try and interview Captain Ebenezer Koomson as well he will give good insights. He was the officer who drove Generals Acheampong and Utuka to the shooting range and the one who covered their heads with the hoods.

I lost all the respect I had for Captain Koomson. The day he said Acheampong was the one who helped him to get admission to the military academy, and yet he was one who drove him to his death. What a coward!.😢😢😢😢
