    Wise young man. This is why I watch you. I love your "hustle" and practicality. Congratulations to your father for raising a good MAN.

    I am astonished and astounded by your perseverance to build your cows farm while maintaining a full time job. This is a role model to follow by young farmers and by others from all walks of life. Live your dream through tackling reality’s challenges.

    Congratulations on your cattle purchase! We wish for you the best on them! Smart budgeting! Raising cattle is hard work, but you have to love what you do! We also are cattle ranchers from Kansas! Our 24 year old daughter is the manager of our cattle herd! We also have a TH-cam channel where our 14 year old daughter is the voice! Keep up the good work! Blessings to you from your friends from Kansas!

    The sward looks great, and I appreciate that you only post a video when you have some interesting content. What a good way to eventually take over the farm. In the UK some farmers join a machinery ring, but we found using contractors more cost effective than running some of our own gear.

    G’day mate! Congrats on the additional cattle and it’s a fine looking herd you’ve got there! They look almost as good as Aussie cattle😜 Your finances are nobody’s God damn business and if anyone asks you personal stuff like that you tell them to go to hell. Some people just can’t mind their own bloody business. I’m here to learn about raising cattle and I find your vlog very informative and inspiring mate. Hope you all are doing bonza over yonder! We’ve got plenty of rain hitting Sydney and the east coast of Australia right now.

    My problem is land but I did just get 20 acres of old horse pasture that has beautiful hay on it don't cost me nothing. I got 33 4x5 bales off it. Just got to keep it cut. And my brother has 36 acres that I'm working on clearing so I'm going to get more cows soon

    • @FarmandHammer
      @FarmandHammer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just put him in with the rest of the cows this week. He didnt do any breeding this year since we didnt keep back any heifers. Not sure if I will hold on to him or sell. He wont have a job for at least a year.

    In a business that is driven by rate of gain how long were they without food? It had to have been several days to have so many bellering like they were. They need food to gain, I do give you credit for showing what you allowed to happen. Kinda shocked you bought more when you can't properly care for what you had.

    • @willhorting5317
      @willhorting5317 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Evidently you didn't hear him say, what I heard him say.
      What I heard him say, is that he did buy enough cattle to basically double the number of cattle that he already had.
      BUT...He actually bought these "new" cattle from his father.
      And they were cattle that were already on the property, because his father and him run their cattle together.
      So, while this young man does now own twice as many cattle as before...it didn't increase the number of cattle on the property.
      It was simply a change in ownership.
      Nothing more.
