Dear serbs, stop thinking that you have created everything and enjoy rakia in peace, and for once in your lifes don't bother commenting something that is not about you.

Hello, I'm bulgarian. I don't like rakia but your video really made me nostalgic about my country and I liked it a lot. Even if I don't drink it, rakia can also be used for treating some diseases (disenfecting and freshening a scratchy spot for example) and I would really like to do some for beggining to end one day. The one my grandfather and my father make are 70° and have to be diluted. have a nice day!

Thanks! I just bought some Bulgarian rakia on the recommendation of a Bulgarian friend. Not easy to find in Ontario, Canada. I love Bulgaria--visited in 2008. I'm assuming it's best served chilled.

Yes, best served chilled with a Bulgarian salad. You should visit again, it just gets better!

Yes , would be nice to see the whole process.
Interesting life there in Bulgaria , seems like you've got a lot of freedom.
I can live without all the regulations imposed on me .
Love your other videos as well , Thanks.

Thanks for that, I always thought it might. I will go to glass in future, just following what the locals do, but good advice, thanks.

If anybody is interested, I could make a quick film of the distillation, it goes on all year round here. By the way, how did the film come out. it keeps stopping and satrting for me, don't know why, all the rest are fine.

So is this safe? Or am I drinking pure methanol?
I got a bottle of homebrew rakiya as a present from a Bulgarian.

This person must like you a lot. They love their Rakia like they love their life. Yes it's safe. It's delicious. The best alcohol I've tried. It's not methanol.
