I seriously don't get why he passed that up... think it was for a reroll into chocolate too? He passed up melon like 5 times, some are excusable while he still had turtle and no pivot but I think the melon would've won that round?
I think it would've been close but still barely a loss actually since the kangaroo would get a second shot in before death, mightve been possible with positioning but difficult to know or guess the applicable position
he doesnt like it because he doesnt like the hippo. i must've missed when the hippo wronged him so badly. he almost never takes it so therefore probably doesnt think much of the boar.
just like hippo, boar only works early because you start running into max stat units that one shot it, but it's a tier 6 so you're not getting it early.
@@addiey9312 Late it could work as a turkey-tiger-fly destroyer. I think it can pop off if you have a way to scale it (which could be easier said than done)
I’m absolutely astonished at the communication and interaction between the developers and gamers. So often in “Modern Gaming” does it feel like the creators do the opposite of the majorative feedback, chasing the money instead of our enjoyment.
Honestly I hate how much power fans have over creators nowadays. I feel like there needs to be a barrier between an author and their fans sometimes to create truly great work.

If they thought the fish needed a nerf, I'd suggest just adjusting its stats to either a 1/3 or a 2/2. Glad it still adds health and attack on level up now. And frankly, glad to see a beta branch where they're willing to make frequent adjustments.
i dont think fish needs a nerf, the indirect nerf by buffing the pig and horse allowing for more ways to deal 3 damage on early turns is perfect

Duck doesn't provide attack buff anymore? Kind of shit... so few animals boost attack now, basically made giraffe/penguin/monkey more gold dust than ever alongside food or usual scalers like dog, worm and bison

Yea that was pretty painful to watch. I feel like with 5 ducks you go for a combine to get the tier 3 then sell. Especially because he wasn't really buffing anything useful anyway.
If they made the level 2 duck +1/+2 and the level 3 +2/+3 it would stop the fun ruining duck build but give real value to leveling a duck.

The competition on the test version's been insane. You really can't screw anything up. I like them pulling back from some of the changes, though. While they find a balance, it really is easy to get so behind in the first 4 rounds you're probably not going to make it. Luck has become more important, and that means gambling is going to play a bigger role. Again, the level of team I run into on the test version turns my 10s into 7s and my 7s into 3s.

Anyone understand how the achievements are counted? You earn the level 3 achievement separate to a win so I assumed a win of any kind will give you the other part of the achievement per pet, I mean for example in what world do you build a stacked team to get the 10 win while somehow rolling a level 3 tier 6? I don't see it possible... do you need the animal at level 3 to get the win achievement when winning? I haven't gotten my win achievement for ant and beaver and otter despite managing it

Is this a bug or nerf ? I thought it always gave you an animal no matter if the animal slots were all occupied?
If every slot is occupied it won't replace one with a higher tier unit. It's actually really frustrating if you run caterpillar and it pops late.

I think duck is trash tier again. 10 lives buff gave duck a spot as a pre-eminent early game unit. Sacrifice the promise of early wins and a few lives to gain an extremely powerful turn 3 advantage of +5/5 units. Now it's JUST +5 hp. Which is nowhere near enough to justify selling sacrificing 1-2 lives and selling your entire board. And that's dream duck luck. If the HP buff to shop units was permanent? Might be worth considering. But as a one-off trade? Nah.
