That was all quality, guitar, sound and tune. The guitar looks like it's lived a life. All the old blues guys had guitars like that.

    Brian Brian Brian
I just found out how I never really cared for Tuesday’s. They were always so far from the weekend and unless you were Popeye you never ever get paid on Tuesdays!
That has all changed now since I came across YOU! I actually now hate Wednesdays since it’s the longest day of the week to get to next Tuesday, if your following my lead.
I now hit my email early Tuesday morning like little Ralphie hits the Christmas tree in hopes of finding a Red Ryder.
Patiently I wait for the pop up of Active Melody appearing with its new delight of song, intense reasoning why you should study the 1st chord followed by the 4th chord and sometimes being asked....” what is the 4th chord of the 4th cord” ( your way of doing the new guitar math )
In spite of all the pain of thinking then playing, I have devoured more EP- “whatever’s” then I ever thought I could ever accomplish.
For this, I can never thank you enough!
    Until next Tuesday
    Cheers🥂

A great lesson Brian. I hope you will come out with a similar type of lesson on the keys of C,G,E, and D too, probably a Christmas song too - Blue Christmas or Rockin around the Christmas tree?

@Alex checked reverb converting about 10 grand but if you had it well worth it , it has that classic tone, reverb.com/item/2810069-1949-gibson-es-175-sunburst-excellent-example-first-year ,

This is so awesome man. God bless you man. Would I be able to improvise like this around a melody? May the Lord help me with it. I am blessed that I found this video.

Thanks, do you think you could do an old school classic by Michael Bolton or percy sledge called when a man loves a woman, a melody version.

@@activemelody that Gibson of yours just has that classic sound, it does not matter the condition it just has oodles and oodles of character, if it could talk, my guitar is by Vintage here in the UK lovely guitars , used by the Pro's , Roy Fulton uses Vintage , love the lesson Brian

Couldn't help noticing the CBG in the skeletons hands...
The Gibson though is gorgeous, either the wear is from a bit of abuse ..or someone really played that guitar a lot..and wasn't that bothered about how they stored it.
Although the fret board doesn't look that worn but maybe the frets were, hence the re-fret perhaps..?
Lovely tone as well and it looks a nice easy guitar to play..
All in all an excellent find..Well done you..

That guitar sounds" ITS AGE !"
Is that Tremelo in stead of reverb ???
I've used old Mac Donald farm to do exactly this.
I teach a few kids and they say Old MacDonald Farm ?????
Then I play it be hind my head and behind my back and improvise over it and I say.
" When you can play old MacDonald like that...then I'll stop teaching you old MacDonald 's Farm .
