Rung by the Devon Call-Change Ringers: Sun 6th November 2016.
Footage starts with rising the whole 12-bells in peal followed by a selection of call-changes on 12-bells (double 60-on-Thirds). Buckfast Abbey bells are a 1935 Taylor vintage. Although somewhat "mushy" and acoustically indistinct in the ringing chamber; outside the sound is glorious and most certainly worth a visit!

There is now a law saying that church bells cant be stopped.
Ringer Fred well, if I was the Bishop, I’d make them play them properly - like tunes or something -that’s just a mess.
The mess your referring to is English change ringing and you can't play tunes on the bells they cant be played quickly they take about 3 seconds to rotate. I suggest you bugger off If you dont like it don't watch it Simple as!
