Just back from Maafushi and the building going on there is crazy. Also reclaiming the sea on the east side of the island by adding sand. Eventually, the island will be over run. All in all a nice place. Would like to return! Nice series so far William!
when u see the maldives u mainly think of luxury resorts and high class service. great to see u can even get a budget room right at the beach. thanks for sharing william, excited to see more from the maldives 👍
The first jetty you went to is called the WAMCO jetty, and there are slow ferries that go to Mafushi- will take close to 2 hours. The frequency is quite less through- one or two per day, except Fridays.
Always a pleasure to watch your adventures William. I mainly watch your videos while I'm on lunch at work wishing I was doing similar travels. When you mentioned there didn't seem much to do on the island, that's probably why some travelers go there, just to wind down, relax and swim. The price difference between your hotel and those on the resort islands is huge....what a great travel tip for those wanting to see Male on a budget!

You are doing exactly what I always tell people to do when traveling! Lol Book two nights online, then use those two days to find your next hotel. Hotels you can find online or with travel sites like Priceline, etc. often charge much more than hotels that are just at your destination. You scored, Bro! $20 a night with air conditioning and a 3.5 out of 5 bed bounce test! And it's right on the beach!How much better can it get?! Deal of your adventure, for sure! Plus, chicks galore! Party hardy William! Have fun and be safe. 😎🤘

Glad to see you are traveling again, the pace of these videos is great. For what it's worth finally got back to Casa Maya in Cancun but the pool you were doing pool tricks in and the Tennis courts and Spa have all been sold off and built over with a small water park what a bummer. Best regards

What make is your backpack and would you recommend it? I've recently dropped a lot of bank on travel clothes & gear by the Swedish company, Fjällräven.
