I think your idea to use Van Gogh's famous painting with those adorable bears is so clever. To me, it looks like the bears are in awe of the starry night which is one reason I love your card so much. Once again, your artwork amazes me!
Starry Night is my favourite painting of all time - now this is right up there as one of my favourite cards of all time!
don't think you're a loser at all. you are extremely talented and have no idea how much your work inspires people. great rendition by the way. I love how you added the bears and personalized it.
Oh my gosh, this Starry Night background is just amazing! The Inktense pencils are just perfect for this!
I get AWED by your AMAZING TALENT every time!!! God BLESS your hands!!!!
One of my all time favorite pieces of art. You did it justice....a mini-masterpiece.
Another WOW! I love Starry Night, and years ago, I did my own version on our bathroom walls. I had removed old wallpaper and it left a cool texture behind. So with yellow, green, blue paint and a few brushes, I swirled my very basic rendition on the walls and added a Van Gogh quote "I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of stars makes me dream." Your video reminded me of that room in our old house that has since been demolished and replaced. Sandy, I would love to see your take on any of the Impressionists. So many cool techniques you could play with. And do not sell yourself short...you have accomplished so much including OWH and inspiring so many of us in our artistic endeavors. Can't wait to see where your talent and imagination take you in the future😊
Beautiful rendition of Van Gough's Starry Night. A little green star doesn't matter. Nice job. TFS
Blown away! I would probably cry if I ever received something this amazing.
This is so beautiful and I cried at the end, because I just lost my mom a week ago, and she was my "momma bear" and would have loved this! She loved your work, and I would always share your videos with her. Thanks for the lovely memory of my mom sweet Sandy!
Maureen Hayes I'm so sorry about you losing your Mom. When I first lost my parents, I was devastated, but then I started to be able to memories of things they had said and taught me. They were both such creative people and really shared it with me. I never knew when I would laugh or cry about them. Its been years now and I can most of the time remember them with fond memories. I hope you have close friends that will listen and help you with this transition in your life. God bless you.
I'm so sorry for your loss…:(
Prayers for you, Maureen. Xo
Wow, this is incredible. What a gorgeous card to give to your Mom. I had the good fortune to go the Musee Dorsay in Paris a few years ago and also to an an exhibition of Van Gogh's paintings at the National Art Gallery in Ottawa, Canada. The color in his paintings are incredible. What a master!
I actually saw the Vincent Van Gogh traveling show when I was visiting family in Michigan. Oh my gosh it was an incredible experience. He is such an amazing, inspiring artist and feel that you did Van Gogh justice with this artistic rendering. You are inspiring, Sandy. I have always loved the Masters and I'm so enjoying your Art too.
This is so stinkin' adorable and stunning. I'm getting a set of Inktense pencils as a birthday gift, so I'm binge watching videos where Inktense pencils are used. And this one is by far my favourite!
Blown.away. This entire video had a beautiful light creative vibe to it. Can't wait to see what artist you pick next!
It's so cute!, i love it!, the colors are very beautiful!. Lovely card Sandy, thank you for this sharing!
Oh my goodness Sandy!! This is gorgeous. I haven't used my intense pencils in a very long time. Thanks for the inspiration to pull them back out.
I loved this! So clever! So bright and cheerful! Wow! I also loved how you made general comments and suggestions as you were completely the picture.
Sandy, you need to write a book centered to these two or more bears. These bears learned from the 'masters of the arts' like Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Matissi and others. It could get younger children interested in the 'Arts.' You could make a name for yourself, for sure. Love these bear characters.
I agree! what an awesome idea!
You did an amazing job and did the original artist justice while adding a sweet and whimsical twist. I love it!
This is the best 15 mins I have spent in ages... watching you colour and talk about the process and seeing the end result is just incredible. This card is so beautiful Sandy, I could watch you colour all day. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
Such a joy to watch it again, I love it 🥰
Beautiful, Sandy! You're amazing!
LOVE YOUR WORK! THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE! I'm a huge Van Gogh fan. Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing.
Speechless!! This is breathtaking! LOVE IT!!! I would love to have this framed in my wall 😍😍😍
I love this! Van Gogh is a favorite of mine, as is Monet! I think your are extremely talented! To me, you are a Master!
Another pleasurable video to watch & learn. Thank you.
This is amazing!!! I have a feeling I will watch this video over and over and maybe even attempt to replicate it once I get my pencils.
This is the most beautiful and cutie draw I've ever seen! it's sooo adorable you had a great idea! it's soooo cute and adorable i can't have enough of it!
This is one of my favorite card I have seen u made. Pls don’t get me wrong, I love everything u do, however this is so special to me. U r so talented and I love to watch ur videos.
This is beautiful. Love Van Gogh.
This is so sweet, I love this card you have made. I have been looking at many inktense videos but yours made me smile.
Crazy cool technique Sandy! Definitely will TRY to case van Gogh's Starry Night. Thank you for the inspiration! This is a really special card!
Stunning! This is my favorite painting ever and use did it beautifully Sandy:) I hope to see Van Gogh's Starry Night in person one day too!!

Awesome! Love, love, love your work. So glad that I found your channel!! Now my husband is going to think I'm crazy when he walks into my scrapbook room and sees me squinting all the time at my projects. hahaha! Thanks for the tip I forgot about doing that when I'm coloring!
Marvelous instructions Sandy with super results. I love C.Monet paintings.
You blow my mind! I can't wait to take one of your classes!!
Love how this turned out! Beautiful! Thank you for showcasing the intense pencils. I own a set but always struggle with using them. Learnt a lot from your technique....beautiful!
Thank you for sharing this, Sandy. I'm a huge fan of Van Gogh and this was really fun to watch and a wonderful (partial) CASE!! =)))
Its really beautiful Sandy, I do admire your creativity
😍 love, love, love your techniques, Thank you so much Sandy for doing this video for me, I will watch it several times and try to learn, thank you for being an inspiration....
You are such a wonderful Artist. Thank you for the inspiration.
Totally off the charts lovely!
You did a fabulous job with this. Thank you.
This is fantastic and I learned a lot from watching this, plus got very inspired to work with my Inktense pencils!
Ooooo..water lillies! This is adorable.
Sandy, this is incredible! I love it!
I love this! Your coloring techniques and tips are great. I like taking pictures of my work in progress with my phone to check my shadowing, I find this very helpful.
This is amazing! You make it look so easy! One day, I must jump in and try it...
Awesome card. For a lucky recipient One of a kind
Love it! I have prints of Starry Night, some Monet water lilies, and Georgia O'Keeffe's Light Iris in my bedroom. They make me happy!
Sandy, that is really pretty cool work. Very nice job!!
monet- i love the softness and "mushiness' of his work
Hey Sandy, you did an awesome job! I also like to copy the old english school illustrators and im happy to know there is people out there who shares my preference for the classics. keep on showing us ur talent
What a brilliant idea. Good for you. Great job!
Fantastic as always Sandy! Thanks!
Beautiful, I just love this very creative.. based on Vincent Vangogh's 1889 Oil Painting Starry Night....
Gorgeous work. The Inkense pencils are on my list of items to purchase for the fall when I will have more time to make cards again.
Would love to see Monet inspired cards.
Pretty background!!!! I love Monet-Water Lilies.
Van Gogh sure was amazing, but I have a feeling it wouldn't be much fun to live inside his head. He painted SO many beautiful pieces of art (especially towards the end of his short life) and was so horribly underestimated. Poor guy! Wish he knew how much he'd be appreciated, later on.
Anyhow.
This card blows me away. It is AMAZING! TFS!
You really are sooooo talented. I think Van Gogh would agree! :D
When it comes to the old masters, how about a Vermeer? He had a way with light that is stunning. Or maybe Monet, with his particular way of turning blots of paint into art...? I especially love his portraits. :)
Then. of course, there is always Picasso, back in the blue and rose periods, before cubism became his thing? :)
In any case, I would like to end this very long comment by thanking you for all the inspiration I get while watching your fantastic videos. You are DEFINITELY a star, and an artist in your own right.
Have a wonderful day!
That is just so pretty!! You did an amazing job on that. Really eye-opening just how much pigment those pencils have in them. I have a few of those lost in my phone. I'm starting to have far more than 75 so don't feel bad LOL I have one with techniques, trying to remember old techniques that I did when I first started back in 2005. It's interesting a lot of them are coming around again with new people that are starting to papercraft. I have one with various TH-cam videos where someone's done something that I liked. I have one with color combinations that I like Etc. I also have photos that I keep in a category on my phone that inspire me something I see often on TV. Figure skating costumes I have quite a few of those because the colors are amazing. Quite a few from watching Christmas movies on Hallmark I'll see you at decoration or design that I like and just deposit and take a photograph of what's on my TV.
So cool! Amazing CASE.
You are awesome this is your first video I saw. God bless you. You draw extremely well. You are my inspirer and I want you to continue to shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars.
I like Van Gogh and several others. I love your video's !!!!
wonderful, I agree with Sherlock Hoka about Monet, o also Gauguin... Love it , thank you for your art and your tecnique
This is so great! I really love your tips too!
Monet's lilies is a good one i'd think, love how you incorporated a bit of Van Gogh
It's really nice to see someone else trying watercolors who fights the lack of control.
Love watching your videos.
My favorite of the old masters is Raphael (not as much his paintings but his drawings)
But as far as card making goes I think you could do some fun things with Monet or Degas
i love this!! your work is beautiful.. Vincent Van Gogh is my favorite.. he express intense emotion through color and brush stroke. ;) me too having problem post on your blog! thank you for introducing this inktense pencil to me.
I love what you created here, Van Gogh sadly didn't know his art would go on to be loved and enjoyed for centuries. I love Klimpt because of the vibrant jewel colours and his subjects, maybe you could try this as a technique? Thank you for taking the time to share and inspire, hugz, Anne
WOW how did I miss this one? It is adorable and beautiful and magical[ you were definatley channeling van gogh! what an awesome idea- I would have never thought to add great works to my cards- I would try and paint it instead- i love this idea so much!!! I had gone thru a Frida Kahlo period for a while- I started making all these animals and turning them into Frida lol- they all had the mono brow and the flowers in their hair- art is so freaking cool and i get so excited anytime I get some inspiration- and trust me it gets a little tight in this RV ( i have been travelling a lot lately and we bring the RV so the dogs can come too) I have to make room for my art supplies on board- I basically told my husband that i dont care if i have a very small amount of clothes-as long as i have storage for paint, paper, stamps.brushes etc- My motto is RV hair dont care! :) love your work so much
wow, this is gorgeous, one of my favorite pieces of art. would have never dreamed to remake it! you will have me pushing myself to try something new!!!!! ❤ Thanks so much!!!
This is fantastic! My favorite artist is Monet. I actually got to visit his water lily pond at Giverny in France and it gave me goose bumps!
Great Idea!! Loved it very much!
I would like to see more card inspired by artists of the same period like Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Degas, Klimt and.... Mucha.
this was wonderful. While I know you said you're more of a fan of the old masters, I'd really love you to do something with a Matisse. He is my favorite and there is so much to choose from - the cut outs are always lovely but there are plenty of paintings, drawings etc. I'd love to see what you do :-) Thanks so much Sandy - see you on Friday at Angela's!
This is amazing! I love water coloring images & creating the backgrounds. Wow!
Thank you Sandy! Amazing!!! Wouldn't Vermeer be a fun challenge too? This is so incredible! Not many know Van Gogh was a Christian too. Thanks again, being able to enjoy your exceptional gifted abilities!
Love this painting. Have an old art background stamp like this. I need to get it out and try with my inktense. Like the suggestion re the Scream. Also like Mondrian.
I would LOVE to see your take on The Scream by Edvard Munch using the clean color brush pens! I've been thinking of getting these inktense pencils, seeing them in action really makes me want to try them out. Beautiful artwork once again!
I am so in love with this painting! It would be great if you could do a tutorial on one of Claude Monet's paintings, he is my favorite artist of all time. Anyway, love your channel! Thanks for the video, will try to make this one to give it to my grandma, she'll love it. xx
Realmente encantada com seu trabalho. Um abraço do Brasil.
awesome idea.......thanq for this idea...ill definitely try this
........
Love...Love...Love!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talent...it is so appreciated!!
I cried watching this..... Ure so amazinggggg
So cute!!! ❤❤❤
all I can say is wow. too cool.
I think you did Van Gogh proud! And Sandy you have had a very accomplished life and will do so much more, absolutely anything you put your mind to do I have no doubt you will achive, be very, very happy with the woman Jesus has led you to be : ) How about a lil Camille Pissarro, his Hyde park paintings are so wonderful, he is not famous for them but they are a beautiful mix of muted colors and slight definition and them bam a burst of brightness, just gorgeous!
Amazing talent!!
You are so talented!!!
Sandy Allnock I was first going to say that this must be going to someone special...And it definitely is. I also want to point out once more that you are a superstar and I can't believe that you don't think that you are in the same league as Van Gogh or do anything as big as these other artists. You can compare yourself to them because you are just as amazing as they are in my book. If you started having your work up for sale, I think you would be surprised. Look at the Hexagon chart (that takes some serious knowledge and talent to revamp that whole thing and I still don't know how you did it!) and your digi stamps how fast they caught on and that is just on this little youtube channel. You are awesome and I really do hope you know that. If I had a bunch of money, you could name your price and I would buy it! Hugs, I love you this turned out so amazing.
I really enjoyed this video and your card! Thank you.
Wouldn't let me leave a comment on your blog, so...i will here. Just to let U know how fun and creative your Starry Night is. Thanks for sharing.~Terry. Y.
Incredible piece of art. You are so talented!
Wow Sandy.. This is amazing... Love it... I need to try this one time. But I am struggling with my watercoloring.. no matter what medium I use... I guess I just need to keep trying.. :D Thank you for sharing your talent.. and giving us lots of inspiration..
You want to do something at a ripe old age! You are already doing a multitude of amazing things now!!!
Very cute card!!!
In 2009, Van Gogh's Starry Night went for a tour to the museum in Amsterdam. There are times when the MoMA will lend a painting to various museums or tours. Likewise, the MoMA gets some wonderful collections in return on tours. I love your card, a masterpiece in its own right. ~M~ I wouldn't mind seeing you doing C. Monet's "Water Lillies"
YOu did a amazing job on this.. thanks for sharing..
this is so lovely
