Sandy, I just loved the card. I just made card sets for the vet and vet technicians who assisted my dog before he had to be put to sleep due to kidney failure. I love this stamp set which I used for the sets. If you are a dog lover this card just makes you smile all over. You have an amazing imagination and wonderful sense of humor. I love your cards. Absolutely adorable! You always make these 'projects' appear to be so easy to do. I am learning, but I still struggle - I guess I try so hard NOT to make mistakes, that I instead make more mistakes. OK, the next one goes into a box labelled "try to fix."
I saw this video a while back and had to make it, it's so darn cute and creative. I've had never made a card where I created so much of the scenery but with Sandy's vision and encouragement I gave it a try. I didn't have all of the Copic colors that Sandy used but used my Hex Chart that I purchased at Sandy's website to help me select from the colors I own. I not only made one to send to my daughter, I had to make another one for myself, LOL. This will forever give me the confidence to make my own backgrounds and experiment with Copic color combinations. Thank You Sandy!!
Thank you for sharing. I purchased your hex chart and I find it invaluable and a cost saving. It really helps you understand which colors mix with which. It also helps you with purchasing too. You can see which markets look too much a like. It’s a great tool, I can’t live without it.

I'm enjoying using Sandy's Hexchart even though I don't have all the colors (less than 80). By combining the Copics I've collected thus far in new ways, it now seems like I have more Copics than I really do!
Plus by using the colored Hexchart and noticing which colors I lean towards using the most, I can easily decide where I'm lacking in my collection and buy those colors. If I just go by the number system, I lose out on terrific color combos!
If you're on the fence about buying the Hexchart, I would definitely go for it. It is a great creative tool :)

Oh my gosh i LOVE this card. It turned out so amazing and thanks for sharing the whole process. When i make cards they sort of just happen organically and they are never what i had in mind to start off. It is so fun to see someone else create.

One of the cutest dog cards I've ever seen. I'm a dog lover so this was right up my alley. Of course your coloring was amazing as usual. That's a really cute stamp set. Watching you color is mesmerizing. I'm always in aww when you're done.
So adorable, and great save on the cream dog's nose. Funny how easy it is to see, when watching the video, something the artist missed because they were so focused and close. You didn't color in the little triangles that show under his armpits in the back view. Not sure if they are the back of his jowls, "thumbs" or what, but my OCD won't leave it alone though it may have been intentional.
