    What feature of the Maverick is most important to you?

    We both think alike sir! I think the Maverick is a must in every household. We have 2 hybrid mavericks and couldn’t be happier. Congratulations on your purchases.

      Hi again RH! At 2 for the price of one full size truck or SUV, 2 Mavericks makes sense. Better to drive 2 hybrid Mavs at 37+ combined mpg than 1 Mav and one little Prius.

      @@fordmaverickmaniacthat’s true! We have 2 Broncos in our stable, and the mavericks are being used 99% of the time. I thought about getting rid of the 4 door, but my wife doesn’t like the 2 door so we keep them both!

    • @fordmaverickmaniac
      @fordmaverickmaniac  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ramonahumada4 Ahhh so you have 4 vehicles also. The Broncos are nice but not the mpg. That is why we got rid of our very nice Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD Ltd. We loved it except when we had to stop at the gas station. Now when we go to the beach or ski, all the sandy or wet items go in the Mav bed. It was impossible to get all the sand out of the Jeep.

    Congrats to you and your family. Mavs are definitely a good choice. Im looking to finally make the switch... im still not sure which one but most likely the xlt hybrid... i drive mostly in the city and some highway miles so it makes the most sense. I currently have a 06 tundra limited. I love my truck but the gas prices are way too much for me, especially since i don't have a need for my size truck anymore.

      Get one! For city driving the hybrid makes sense. We are getting 37 combined mpg. But think seriously about spending 4k more for the Lariat, there are 18 features you will not get on XLT, like built-in NAV, push start, B&O surround sound, Sat Radio, Adaptive Cruise, Lane Centering (almost drives itself), and leather like seats. Each upgrade ends up less than $200. The sound system alone would cost way more than that.
      Oh and welcome imzaq, your name must be Zach. I hope to earn your trust and referrals.

      @fordmaverickmaniac yes, I would definitely rather have the lariat, but I have to work the numbers and see which one makes the most sense. But yes, you are correct... there are much more features that it has compared to the xlt that I would prefer as well. Let's see how it goes! Btw, good luck with those and I look forward to more of your videos! 👍💯 thanks again for the reply and suggestions

    $27,295 was the price for a 2024 XL at Sioux Falls SD Ford Dealer. It had copilot 360 and the $1500 hybrid system. $300 off MSRP
    Still didn’t buy but if I was in the market, I’d buy only this spec. For $200 more they had an AWD 2.0 with no Copilot.
    The Lariat is way by far a nicer vehicle for an extra $10,000 if you’re into that.
    Overall, when a fella sees these videos here he can get excited about replacing the suspension and maybe even lowering it a little. Nice work.
    The 25’s will be here soon enough and if they add 6” to the bed and update the styling I think it’s worth the wait unless they discount them about 2500$. Then I’d buy a 24.

    • @fordmaverickmaniac
      @fordmaverickmaniac  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Lariat is actually $8k more than the XL, a big difference but still $13k less than the avg cost of $48k for a new vehicle. I have driven all 3 trims, and if you keep the Maverick long term, I recommend the Lariat.
      But if you get an XL, be sure it includes CP360, otherwise you get manual side mirrors. A vehicle does not get more stripped down than that, most base models today at minimum have push button start. I think it is a mistake to skip powered side mirrors. Ford is compromising safety if you cannot adjust the right mirror while driving without a passenger.
      Expect the 2025MY to cost another $2,000 or more for all trims. Welcome! Ask questions on any of my 170 Mav only videos.

      I appreciate the channel and I’ve seen at least 20 of your videos. I know that from your perspective everything you say is true but when it comes down to parting with my money paying extra for fancy wheels and seats is hard to justify. You get the same engine and drive train in them all. The radar cruise is something I would like to have but I’m still a capable driver so it’s not really necessary. I think people are foolish to spend on these options, especially if they can’t pay cash for the vehicle.
      I ordered a Maverick twice and it never came in. So Ford can basically kiss my hand before I ever do that again. I don’t think they going to sell them all for full price anyway. Give me $2500 off and I’ll buy it.

    • @fordmaverickmaniac
      @fordmaverickmaniac  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @hongshi8251 Wow, strange that you ordered 2 and Ford did not send at least 1 to you. So sorry! If you end up buying one, the XL will be great. Like I suggested, order CP360 because that also includes power mirrors.

    • @hongshi8251
      @hongshi8251 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Again I appreciate your advice. I’m never ordering another vehicle from Ford but I’m seriously looking and I found that XL Hybrid but it’s a lot more money than my original orders by almost 20%. Tonight I spied a Chevy Silverado 1500 with 65,000 miles for $13,500 and seriously I might just buy it tomorrow depending on what I can find wrong with it. Used prices are falling back to the reasonable level now and other than a little more gas a good ole V8 and fully loaded truck with full capabilities is bringing me back to reality. These Mavericks were meant to get a fella from home to work and around for a reasonable dollar but now I can clearly see that working with it is just not a possibility.
      I’ll keep watching the channel and enjoying the notion that a little pickup could serve me but I think you should just take a little 25 mile ride in a regular half ton. My experience is that there’s day- that’s a half ton and then there’s night- which is a Maverick.

    • @fordmaverickmaniac
      @fordmaverickmaniac  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @hongshi8251 13.5k is a great price for not that many miles. Do it! The fuel savings on a Mav will never break even on the low cost of the Chevy. When the Mavericks get that many miles, you will probably get a deal then.

      We used to own a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD Ltd getting combined 16 mpg. So instead of a 1 Mav at each place and buying something like a Prius, we decided that the great mpg and capabilities of 2 Mavs at each home made more sense for my wife and I. At the price, it is like getting 2 for the price of 1 full size truck or SUV.
      Most people have 2 or more vehicles at their home. The 2 hybrids will stay at our place in HB for city mpg. The 2 AWD versions will be in Park City where there are many off road trails or for road trips to places like Moab in the Tremor. In the winter with the often extreme driving conditions, we never had to get out of the truck to put chains on the XLT AWD in even the worst storms. I posted a lot of winter driving videos from the last 2 ski seasons.
      A short but great question Michael! Thanks.
