Snoop Dogg is an undeniable icon in hip-hop, but behind the smooth delivery and infectious charm lies a complicated legacy. From his early days as Dr. Dre’s protégé to becoming a global pop culture phenomenon, Snoop’s journey has been marked by undeniable talent, legendary collaborations-and a consistent pattern of playing both sides.
In this melodrama documentary, we dissect Snoop’s history of “fence-sitting” and how it has shaped relationships with some of the biggest names in rap. From Tupac to Kendrick Lamar, Eminem to Biggie, and even contemporary figures like Dave Blunts, Snoop’s shifting alliances reveal a story of calculated moves, survival, and sometimes, betrayal. In this video we take a look at times when Snoop Dogg has been considered a fence sitter.
Tell me any Snoop fence sitting moments I may have missed.

You hit all the points but i let me tell ya.. Snoop didnt get 2PAC on Deathrow, it was 2pac's ex wife Keisha. She did all the leg work for 2Pac while he was incarcerated. Tupac actually had a relationship with Suge prior to getting sent to prison. They worked together on the Poetic Justice, Above the Rim, and Murder was the Case soundtracks and video. Suge had actually offered to sign 2pac during that time early 94'.
Now Snoop told no lies when asked by DjEnvy about Eminem.. Those were facts.. but
The real reason Snoop out of the blue dissed Eminem was a favor to Puffy. This was after Eminem name dropped Puffy as the one putting a hit out on 2Pac on Eminem MGK diss killshot.
Snoop had been asked about Eminem & Dre for years kissing ass in responses but all of asudden after Eminem disses or exposes Puffy Snoop decides to throw shade ???
Another thing to add about Suge knight was it was Snoop Dogg that started the rumor in the the late 90's in a Mtv interview clip when he was asked 'Who does he think killed 2Pac ' ''the man sitting next to him in the car'' snoop replied. blaming Suge who was the victim.

Oh, that’s fine. No one’s suggesting that Snoop be perfect or that there’s nothing noble about seeking peace and unity. I think the message here is to make sure that you’re covered. I think there’s so much envy and jealousy surrounding Kendrick Lamar. I’m seeing it in OG’s like 50 Cent, for example. I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and hip-hop has changed so much. People are far more sensitive and jealous. I appreciate OGs like Nas, LL, Jay-Z, Dre and Busta because they aren’t afraid to step aside and watch younger generations ascend. Good point, though.

My uncle (( Mark Brown )); wrote, produced, directed 2 can play that game (( I till this day think that movie is about my mom but w.e. )), 3 can play that Game, he produced all the barbershop movies, plus beauty shop, He was responsible for the Baldwin hils series; +++...
I remember him fighting to be JUST RECOGNIZED in the industry as a child and he finally made it working on his own movies, productions, etc but my Uncle attended ONE party and now wants NOTHING to do with the industry the only thing he'll tell me is "I will NEVER compromise my Christian morals for anything on this earth"; and yes I'm readng all in between those lines because he will not say anymore...
All I'm saying is; we don't personally know these people, we don't know what their doing behind closed doors but they are GREAT at their jobs and that is to entertain us everyone can't do that but we see those who can and they MAY be messed up people but they do/give us their all when it comes to their JOBS as entertainers and that's all I'm willing to accept atp with any entertainer "I LOVE"...

Just during that time Snoop was charged for first-degree murder after a member of a rival gang was shot and killed by Snoop's bodyguard. They tried to kill him in 1993 but he was called in late 1995 and the case finnished on February 20, 1996. Police probobly watched him closely and he didnt want to do anyting stupid. Probably everybody gang affiliated around him stay away for him also. He beat the case make misllions and it is living his life in peace.

I don’t trust Snoop. I like him, but don’t trust him. He has business interests that align with 50 Cent and Drake, like investments in Happy Dad and Stake. Snoop crowned Kendrick but don’t want to take sides. He calls Drake his nephew, too, which is very strange. Then, he makes a record with 50 in which 50 disses Kendrick. It’s fine. This is hip-hop. But if I’m Kendrick, I’m giving all these OG rappers the side-eye and watching my back.

Great video as usual, well done Moxy. I could be wrong but I think people love Snoop globally as a personality but haven’t musically for a loooooong time. No matter how much love Snoop gets, “it ain’t enough”, he still wants people to “love him, like they love Pac”. I think it bothers people like Snoop, 50, and Diddy as they know that their legacy will die when they do, unlike 2pac whose legend is arguably stronger today than when he was alive. Those old rappers get money but only really stand for themselves, ain’t nobody studying those guys lyrics in the future. 2pac and Kendrick have integrity and stand for something other than themselves, and that gives you respect and love from the people/culture, they will continue to spark the seeds for future generations. Money can’t buy you that.

2Pac was also prophetic. There’s a conversation with him where he condemns wealth and greed. He condemns people who idolize greed and want to be like DJT. Snoop has a relationship with DJT and used to hate him. Now during the election he cozy’s up with him until there was an outcry. Then, he changed his tune again. If I’m dealing with someone who changes up wherever the wind blows and pursues unlimited wealth, I’m giving that person the side-eye. If I’m Kendrick, I’m watching my back when it comes to Snoop or any of these rappers, athletes who seem to put corporate interests and money before relationships. Snoop still calls Drake his “nephew” and refused to have Kendrick’s back during the beef, pretending to be a diplomat. He did it again when it came to the Super Bowl-trying to be a fence rider. Why even give Kendrick Lamar the west coast crown if you’re not going to stand by him. Oddly, it’s the east coast OG’s like Jay-Z, Nas and Mos Def who are standing with Kendrick. That’s sad.

On Keep it Real Dogg, lol Snoop dissed Biggie; it's strange how he went on a NY radio station and said those were his homeboys, especially when the Dogg Pound even dissed Badboy on the Ny87 track for their trailer being shot up, because of Big's words.
I always wondered why did Snoop and his crew had walkie talkies, receiving play by play information the night of the Suge and Pac shooting at Vegas? I always wondered why did that cover with lil Half Dead looked like Pac , Biggie and Kadafi, dead?
