You know what, groups nowadays is, many of them didn't even sing the chorus. Ironically, this one popular group even cut their own solo parts including adlib or high notes. Back then, no matter how shy, how many bashing, how many critism, they still sing their lines complete with chorus. Damn not a lny of previous generation deserve any bashing about their skill & performances. Back then fans still critize their own fave for anything from MV, adlibs, clothes, to promo performances to concert-related which really help the idols to learn & confident. In SNSD, 2NE1, 4Minute, AS, T-Ara, Secret, etc, ALL members received critism for vocal, some got bash & mock & those idols know it. Most fans in their fandom will shield for any hates but will deliver any critism if they just don't like or it's a K-pop topic. Years ago when I thought 2nd gen is worst, here this gen beat them. We rarely see this unless they're part of previous gen fandoms or read/discuss more with previous gen fandoms. I miss the old culture of K-pop & idol + fandoms, we can discuss, enjoy, & critize, all freely + say it all to our own faves without labeled as a troll/hater/fans.
The National Girl Group was given to SNSD by the government, they even invited SNSD to the bluehouse many times. Recently other artists and kpop show still introduce SNSD members as the Eternal Nation's Girl Group, end of story.

And about the vocal, there is a big gap between Taengsic and the rest. Meanwhile Tiffany, Seohyun and Sunny can easily become the main vocalists in other groups.

It is amazing to see how k-pop has evolved. Especially the makeup and dance. This choreography seems now so easy now, but back in the day it was normal. It was also more realistic to sing while doing it. Times have just changed, and I’m grateful to SNSD for being the first group that I stanned and a role model for many.
Being entitled as the “Nation’s Girl Group” is such a huge achievement. SNSD sets the standard right after their debut, made kpop popular and has created a history for girl groups. Sorry to say this but Twice can improve themselves but will never acquire the title because they’re on their 5th year but still needs improvement.
The fact that they also don’t have their in-ears on to be able to properly hear the music and themselves but yet they are still able to sing the song on key from top to bottom while doing the choreography and giving us a REAL encore just further proves why SNSD will always be called the “Nations Girl Group”. To be honest all Gen 2 groups boy and girl have the best encore stages because they were able to sing and dance live and give a true encore performance. That’s what an encore is a bonus performance. An encore isn’t a “let’s stand here try to be cute and eat weird stuff”

Even while fooling around, SNSD's vocals are more stable than my mental health.
It is amazing to see how k-pop has evolved. Especially the makeup and dance. This choreography seems now so easy now, but back in the day it was normal. It was also more realistic to sing while doing it. Times have just changed, and I’m grateful to SNSD for being the first group that I stanned and a role model for many.
The choreos have evolved and the vocals have drastically declined to the point where idols can't sing even during encore when they're not dancing.

Being entitled as the “Nation’s Girl Group” is such a huge achievement. SNSD sets the standard right after their debut, made kpop popular and has created a history for girl groups. Sorry to say this but Twice can improve themselves but will never acquire the title because they’re on their 5th year but still needs improvement.

The fact that they also don’t have their in-ears on to be able to properly hear the music and themselves but yet they are still able to sing the song on key from top to bottom while doing the choreography and giving us a REAL encore just further proves why SNSD will always be called the “Nations Girl Group”. To be honest all Gen 2 groups boy and girl have the best encore stages because they were able to sing and dance live and give a true encore performance. That’s what an encore is a bonus performance. An encore isn’t a “let’s stand here try to be cute and eat weird stuff”
"they are tired let them have fun" are they FR? Every Idol is tired during promotion but 2ndGen was a different breed

개인적으로 슴은 13~15년이 ㄹㅇ 레전드였다고 생각함... 소녀시대 같은 대선배 그룹부터 신인인 엑소에 이르기까지 슴 소속의 다양한 아티스트가 활발히 활동하던 때라 진짜 대가족 같은 느낌이었고 이럴 수 있나 싶을 정도로 명곡도 정말 많았음....그리고 원래 과거는 미화돼서 더 좋아 보이는 경향이 있다고는 하지만 나는 이때 슴이 좋았음...압구정에 사옥 있고 에브리씽 노래방 가고 명동에 그 피아노로 된 계단 있는 굿즈샵 가던 시절의 슴... 항상 새로운 걸 시도하고 트렌드를 주도하는 느낌이긴 했지만 지금처럼 너무 심하게 미래 지향적인?? 느낌을 뺀 슴 감성이 좋았음 개취로...
