We're booked on a Greek Island cruise on Explorer in October, but visiting Heraklion, Santorini, Kusadasi, Piraeus and Argostoli. So hopefully a bit more diversity. Thanks for the review.
We've just visited your channel for the first time, and really happy to subscribe, look through, and 👍more of your cool content now and in the future. Keep up the good work.
We really enjoy the pace and presentation style of your work in these vlogs. Good camera work, nice soundtracks well chosen. We hope more people discover you here and subscribe and enjoy your content as we do. Honestly, its far better than some of the travel vlogging community with their thousand of subscribers and views that we've seen.
having to wait 30mins to be served a drink in the squid and anchor having to wait up to 2hours for a table in latitutde listening to staff arguing and swearing the list goes on. @@shanesmith1844
Our Greek itinerary with P&O similar destinations to yours so share most of your views. Mykonos....A place for many to capture those iconic but over repeated Instagram images and selfies. Also some horror stories of visitors being "scammed" by 1 or 2 bars debiting inflated and unexpected amounts from peoples cards for basic food and drinks. Chania, totally agree. A fabulous Sunday spent there. Italian and Ottoman influences giving the place a different vibe Santorini. We knew we didn't want anywhere near the capital, so took a tour inland and around the island to its smaller communities, vineyards, hill tops. Would recommend that.
We are doing Iconic Islands in May on the Explorer so a look at the cabin was very informative as we have never been on this ship.... Your Itinerary seems the same as ours, we don't rate Mykonos either, we have been there before as well as Rhodes and Katakolon. Although I adore what is called Old Rhodes so don't mind going there again we will probably stay on the ship for Katakolon not much there that peaks our interest. We have sailed with Tui/Marella on 15 Med cruises and have always enjoyed our time, the staff are amazing and although we have done most of these ports before we were just gagging to get back to Greece as our last booked cruise was cancelled 8 weeks before we were due to go because of Covid! We are looking forward to Chania and Santorini..... Could you tell me what adaptors I will need for the cabin US or UK and thank you for the post is was really interesting......
Thank you glad you like the video. Greece is great for cruises and I liked Old Rhodes too, a very nice place. There were both US and EU plugs in the cabins. Hope this helps and enjoy your cruise! 🙂 There's info on the Tui website also; www.tui.co.uk/destinations/faq/what-adaptors-should-i-bring-for-the-marella-cruise-cabin-sockets?catId=647&subcatId=711&docId=5229
Thanks, glad you liked the video! In answer to your question, you can book an organised tour through the cruise line, however I never booked any trips so can't really comment on prices. If you look on the Tui website it sometimes gives you a list of tours available and prices. You can also go to visit places by yourself and use public transport which is usually much cheaper. Hope this helps!
I recall shore excursions being able to book a few months before the cruise by logging into the 'Cruise Control' section of your booking online. You are best checking with Marella however for specific dates of when shore excursions are released. Hope you have a great cruise!

We were so disapointed with our cruise on explorer having been on other marella ships but you are spot on with the sushi bar it was excellent.
What was you disappointed with?
