@@FutureVVz this has a metal trigger and this one is designed for .177/4.5 mm steel BB's. They may make an airsoft version.
@@FutureVVz they make a 6mm plastic firing airsoft version, buttttt you could get 4.5mm plastic BBs for this specific gun in the video, although no airsoft site will let you use an air pistol whether plastic bb or not, so I'd get the airsoft one if you wanna shoot other people for jokes, playing airsoft etc - both are as realsitc as the other

Personally were never into this Shadow1. But this review kinda flipped me over to liking it. Been thinking of getting the non-blowback version of it - because it is so inexpensive (~80 euros) here in Finland also. This blowback version though raises the price up to ~180€.. So I am gonna just wait for my precious Shadow2 steelBB to come out on the market. Probably gonna cost over €200 like the airsoft version - but that will not be an issue in that case. The Shadow2 feels soo good - and with an adjustable rear sight even.😁
Would really like to see them making a steelBB version like this of the CZ P-09, since it being one of my all-time favorite pistol models. But that probably is not gonna happen. But that is why I bought it as airsoft a few years back.
I was pleasantly surprised. The grips are the best I have seen. It is a fun gun and I have not seen a Co2 blow -back that has a heavier slide spring. Not to mention this thing is over 2 1/2 lbs, it is a beast!
@@AirgunDetectives I've always been a bit sceptic of those grips. But apparently they are much liked by many owners of that pistol.
I really would not mind a heavy slidespring on any co2 pistol. I guess my Beretta m92A1s got the heaviest so far.
Really do not mind a lower shotcount if the pistol itself is way awesome.
I have a 1911 version (also with blow back) and it is a sweet little pistol. It weighs in at just over 2lbs and is the same weight (without ammo) as an actual Colt Commander. Nice review. I have had my eye on a CZ Shadow 2 in 9mm for quite some time but at $1500 + here in Canada I settled on the S&W M&P 2.0 (Which has been great and I use it in IDPA)
I love the 1911's. I have about 20 different models and I will feature some in the near future.

You're gonna love that gun. Even heftier than the Shadow1. Great trigger too ! ASG makes a Red Dot plate for it, for that nice, low, streamline mount. Just a magnificent gun and my favorite shooting replica of em all (except the Tanfoglio Gold Custom..... lol)

Hi, nice review, finally someone shows a detailed trigger action! This is very important to a shooter. When you squeeze the trigger, there should be a short travel, then you should hit a readable wall, aply more force and nice, not mushy, crisp click with no overtravel. Because of the Covid-19 quarantine here in the Czech Republic, I cant go training to a shooting range with a REAL pistol (CZ Shadow 2, 9mm Luger). Im thinking of buying such a blowback BB pistol with a slide open on a last shot to train target acquisition and fast shooting at my backyard. I know that these guns have no recoil, but its better than dry firing. Do you think that this gun is one of the best in its category or should I also consider Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 (Gen 5 sux on videos)? Im interested in authenticity and great trigger action. Sadly shops are closed, so I cant try it, only eshops are open. Thx. I already know, that there will be a AGS Shadow 2 - 4,5 mm version :( , maybe I should buy the airsoft 6 mm version?

Odds are you will probably get a good gun if you order it. If not you can send it back to PA or others in the first 30 days for an exchange or refund. It is well worth the chance. I have had Zero issues with mine and I have over 500 rounds through it. Thanks for watching!
I'm hesitating between CZ shadow II (BB) and Beretta 92 FS (diabolo)! The first less accurate (BB) but easy to load and best trigger, and vice versa for Beretta ! Same price in France, same weight, maybe CZ better to train in order preparing future purchase 22LR and 9mm ? What your advice? Thank you, you make the best video for a foreign neophite 😄
How is the gun holding up? Not much out there on that particular model. I only could find 1 site that sold it and didn't purchase it due to lack of information. Between this video and the shadow 2 coming out this year, I'm debating on picking gun up. Do you know if spare mags are available? That's a deal breaker with me.
The SP-01 is not that easy to find..maybe they are anticipating the sale of the Shadow2? But, the magazines are out there for about $33.00. They take the same magazine as the CZ75. I have had no issues with mine thus far. But I only have about 600 rounds through it.
How's the gun holding up? I finally decided to order one and it just came in today.
One more question. Have you heard anything on the shadow 2 ? When it will be available?
@@mattdaly5203 FYI. CZ75 and the Shadow uses the same magazine as I showed. They do sell spare magazines. No word on the Shadow 2. I guess the virus has slowed things down everywhere.
Hello, I was wondering if you heard any news on the shadow 2? I can't find anything. My kids love the shadow, trigger is real light and the accuracy is fairly good. Have had no issues with the gun or magazine, but you're right it does eat through more co2 than most of my other pistols
Picked up the Kyairsoft version it kicks hard and has over 370 FPS ....

Nice gun review. I'm an older female looking for an authentic-looking replica for security. I camp alone and with our gun laws in Canada we can't have a concealed weapon, so an air gun might be better than nothing. Which pistol would you recommend for that purpose? Thanks for your videos.

Great review! Only thing missing was whether this is field strippable (I assume not).
Also 50 shots / CO2 bulb isn't bad for a blowback pistol. I usually assume ~40 good shots before changing the CO2 so this is about right.

Around 50 shots. Watch the video, he mentions it a couple of times.
Think they will come out with a pellet verison?
No...but Umarex is coming out with a new Walther pellet pistol that is a new design. I preview that on my Umarex Shot Show episode.
My biggest negative is that tacky white writing on it.
