why play nashor instead of lich bane ?

Nashors will always do more damage, Lich bane will kill quicker single target vs squishy but does NOT apply AOE.
Lich bane has a 1.5s cd which means if you hit a 3 man dagger and press R, Lich bane will only proc once on the closest player to the dagger, whereas Nashors will proc on all 3 enemies that stood on the dagger, and apply on the ult.
Lich bane is still good sometimes if you really need the move speed vs full squishy and where your team does not lack damage.
95% of games nashors is better, I just sometimes go lich bcs I am bored
