The trip to and fro was free for some of us, it was paid for by the international students office ( it was by registration first come first serve)
But normally to go to Bruges from Lille by bus could be about 12€ to n fro.

Yes we came back the same day. It’s really close to Lille but there are many hostels there for tourists
