I've always loved how the camera booms down to the Pinocchio toys at 4:25 after Miles look towards them in response to Madeline's line, "But none ever wrote music for me." Maybe a little obvious, but I always found it to be clever and humorous.
Great song by Jeff Lynne! Video is so underrated! Saw this movie in the theaters when it came out. One of my favorites, as a budding IT professional back then! Great soundtrack!
"Make Love Not War" has new meaning with this computer A.I. wants to compose love songs....and in "War Games" the the W.O.P.R. "artificial intelligence" is convinced a nuclear war is about to start.
I saw a post about this, and there is a more recent film called TAU (Netflix) which has similarities to this film, and has parallels between the female protagonists. I would highly recommend it!

That first song the computer writes still makes me laugh as much today as when I first saw the movie when I was a kid.
Yeah it was funny. My favorite part of the movie is when the tear drop hits the keyboard, that scene speaks without words.
This is such an amazing movie ! I wonder if Virginia pops the movie in every once and awhile , just to relive the moments. :-)
