I wonder if it's possible to negotiate the warranty? I was thinking something like writing in the paperwork that for everyday that it takes to complete warranty work, the dealer extends their warranty for equal time for free. Day for day the first time, 2 days for each day the second etc., etc., Seems it would give them incentive to not bring the RV in until the parts have arrived and to get it fixed and back to the customer as quickly as possible. And with the market slowing down, the buyer should have more power.

Hey man thanks for posting this, I pickup one just like it next friday so i'll be sure to double check the brakes. We also spotted a bunch of quality issues, things like the shower backing coming away from the wall, the corner of the counter top had been crushed where the oven was put in etc. Hopefully the dealership will have it fixed before I collect it.
Any other comments / concerns / issues now you've had a it few months?
    thanks,
    dan.

I've had significant problems with the hot water tank. The flue is the wrong size somehow and it keeps popping the vent screen off the door. At this point I threw it all away and build my own vent system. I just don't have the stomach to bring it to the dealership right now because I probably won't see it until the winter time knowing how slow they are

I got mine last weekend, brakes were good, but thanks for the tip to check because my friend picked their up and they were really bad.
I found the ceiling speakers are defective, I took one down to troubleshoot and discovered they are wired REALLY badly, the 2 above the dinette are left, the 2 in the bedroom are right.
I did notice the water heater door is a bit dubious looking, so i'll take a further look at the flue, thanks for the tips.

I don’t understand why you took delivery like that. It’s supposed to be brand new! Those things would drive me crazy.

The brakes were a obvious problem from the get go. Corrected before you left the lot. That's good service actually, most dealers would have told you to come back in a week. The main door striker problem is something I would have the dealer fix along with the closet wall that needs support (design error) I would tell the dealer to get the parts ordered that's needed and give you a call when the parts are in so you can bring the trailer back in for a day or two. I know your problems are a huge aggravation and disappointment but I have seen other "new" trailers have lists 30 items long.

Since I shot that video I probably fixed 10 more defects. Modern trailers are really just pieces of junk. It's so sad that they're not held to the same standards as say the automotive industry.

@@themarginalmechanic5928 Should have checked out trailers made in Oregon instead of Elkhart. Quality brands such as Arctic Fox, O.R.V, Nash. Spend some more and pick up a clean Lance from Texas

Yes I've been looking at Lance. They're priced between the crap ones and the overpriced airstreams so maybe it's a good idea.

@@themarginalmechanic5928 The other great options are the Northwoods Arctic Fox or Nash. Sister product O.R.V. have outstanding reputations.

You know what the real problem is right now. Nobody has any good campers in stock and the backorder wait time is literally like 8 months. I think the earliest Lance camper I could get ahold of would be November 2021. In fact I'm going to call Lance company today and talk to them about the reality of obtaining a 2075
