Other than the prophecies, the reason for JantarMantar in Ujjain is that it sits on the Tropic of Cancer

Don't know why but it looks like Ben actually has some deep connections with Ujjain. In one of his videos he told that his spiritual inclinations started in 2016 i.e. when the Simhastha/ Kumbh/ Mahakumbh mela (fair) took place in ujjain between 22 April 2016 to 21 May 2016 . In his trip to india Ujjain was not even on his travel map, yet he visited it. Next simhastha in Ujjain is set to take place in 2028 somewhen between March - April, in the Hindu month of Vaishaakh

That's amazing synchronicity you're pointing out. I was indeed considering to come back around that time!

This reminds me of a line from The 20th century Hindi Epic Saaketa by my favourite Hindi Poet, Maithili Sharan Gupta
      “ कौन भव्य है कौन ना जाने दिव्य है ? ”
      Pronounciation -
(Kaun Bhavya hai Kaun Naa Jaane Divya Hai)
      Meaning -
Who knows who is grand, who knows who is divine?

Jyotisha (hindu astrology) is considered to be one of the six 'limbs' (subjects) belonging to the Vedas. In ancient India, apart from the Vedas itself, shishyas (pupils) used to study astrology, phonetics, prosody, grammar, etymology, vedic rituals as core subjects in school (gurukula). Studying jyotisha involved a lot of mathematics including trigonometry, algebra, logarithms and even calculus. How different the schooling system used to be back then! Knowledge for the sake of liberating oneself from the birth-death cycle (samsara) used to be the goal of learning. Today, learning is only for the sake of getting job to earn money and more money 🤢🤢.

Bro try to meet yogis who wear small cloth or one piece of cloth.
You must visit every akhada, each akhada is different school of practice. It can be yoga, non duality, vedanta or tantra or devotion.
    Visit every different akhada

rishikesh, varanasi, or ujjain places having many akhada. those are not modern schools . They existed from long back. There will be a lineage of gurus. guru's guru's guru's guru's guru the line of existence of that sampradaya and akhada.

  • @reddispiritualtech7354
    @reddispiritualtech7354 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

it's definitely a better decision to visit juna akhada

Some gurus will not accept student so easily , they will observe the nature and behaviour seeker days on, and they will decide if they're ready or suitable for it.
But some great gurus will accept the student immediately

Ben, please acknowledge my comment ! That Mysuru guru said you will need to go tomorrow Ujjain and you will find a leader who would help you with your spiritual growth ! Well , I know in the background they are also trying to contact a guru and connect with you, what I was thinking all this while is that is Shubham is also playing a small role of guru right ? He offered you stay, food, he is taking you through the city and making you witness temples, culture etc…. Do you feel the same ? Does it not feel like he is helping you in this journey to find a guru but what if he was also connected to you somehow in your past life and that is the reason he has come into your life to finish the unfinished job ?

This is a beautiful observation and proposed line of thinking. I wholeheartedly agree that Shubham played an instrumental role in all this, which was simply too synchronistic to ignore. Right on the very first day he offers me a room and guidance in this rough place. Soon you will see how he contributed to actually finding the right place and person.
I do however fully agree that he enabled me to connect with Ujjain and find my spiritual teacher within (more to come also on that).
      Thanks for your sincere comment!

Bro , you're just thinking that you've came very far hardly to get guru and self realization or might be state of samadhi. But you're not understanding that , it takes your worth of life, or threat of life in order to get self realized. All your struggles till now doesn't matter(i mean it's a spec), the real struggles begins after getting guru.
