    how is it possible to have such a beautiful, flawless, perfect swing whatever the shot. Forehand, backhand, both seem to have been struck by god given unreal beauty

      he is the most perfect player of all times. we will never see anything like it in our lifetimes.

    C'est vraiment dingue cette rotation totale du buste. Ça permet à Roger d'avoir cette fin de geste complètement alucinante. Ça paraît tellement naturelle et facile, quel joueur époustouflant.. Un régal tennistique !!

    I prefer watching RF in practise to other players in competition

      Nope. That was one of a player of a century

      when Fed retires, I'll be watching Grigor coz his strokes are similar to Fed's

    • @mchammer74
      @mchammer74 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@Buddy_-ub1mf I like Grigor. But his strokes aren’t so fluffy and effortless likes Roger‘s are. Rogers footwork and technique unique and will be unreachable for decades. Roger is a type of player that don’t fit in the actual era. He’s a old time player in a modern world.

    • @Buddy_-ub1mf
      @Buddy_-ub1mf 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mchammer74 i agree wit ya, Grigor's strokes show slightly more effort, but at the same time i really hope Fed's technique doesn't die in the future, its so mesmerising to watch

    • @mchammer74
      @mchammer74 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Buddy_-ub1mf indeed. And in future, maybe 10 or 20 years, all tennis enthusiasts will realise that the current era is so unique and fantastic with all the talented players. Nadal, the fighter, Djokovic, the master of counterattack, Federer, the wizard, Wawrinka, Murray, Dimitrov, and some more. The top three will and their career with about 60 GS wins together. But all the others would have won many more titles when they would be without the others. We are in a golden decade

    Djokovic can win even 68 slams but the GREATEST will always remain Roger.

    • @Tennisplayer123
      @Tennisplayer123 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      True. And people talk about lack of competition in Roger’s era but the next gen are far less mentally strong and capable of beating the top guys now. Tsisipas blows a 2 set lead on djokovic just last slam. Hewitt, Safin, Roddick, Nalbandian, Agassi, ferrer, davydenko, Nadal of course, etc… there were some talented players and they may not look as fancy or hit as hard on Instagram as the next gen but they were very solid players.

    the secret of federer's flawless forehand and backhand(well backhand debatable) is seen when you slow down the video to 0.25 speed...watch him prepare so early that as the ball is crossing the net he knows which side it is coming and he is prepared ...now one thing i saw is he is doing that patting the dog movement as the ball hits the floor...every time never late or anything...wow

      nighttrain7404 yes thats what usually happens when he makes it deep in a tournament. The losing players leave and head to next tournament. The players that make it to final four have to practice with either junior players or lower ranked players that are in the area.
