This is so pretty! Thank you for sharing your skill with the world. I feel very motivated to try this on my own. I’ve successfully completed kits and have been working up the courage to work with denim. Appreciate the great detail!
Thanks so much for your comment and for watching my tutorials! I’m so glad you found this helpful and wishing you all the best on your embroidery journey!
An excellent point!! Great for stuffing. I’ve heard of other craft ideas using resin as well! Thank you so much for watching my video 😊. I’m not super active here on TH-cam but if you aren’t already following, my Instagram account is @riverbirchthreads
Beautiful, I bought the pattern and appreciated the detailed instructions as well as this video. I used slightly different colors as I am trying to use what floss I had but it still turned out beautiful.. Thank you..
That is flippen gorgeous! I don't, and probably never will have your talent! Especially for the colors. I had a vision for the back of my Levi trucker jacket with an arbor with cascading wisteria along the inner seams of the narrower waist part. It'll never happen. But I was wondering why, on parts of this you didn't use variegated floss, at least on the leaves.🤔
Interesting enough: I know how to embroider, but I'm still watching this bc it's relaxing. Stitching on a pair of jeans? You're a badass. The cloth is so thick and uncomfortable to work with imo.
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you found it relaxing! Honestly it’s not that bad! The main issue is manoeuvrability! The thickness is only ever an issue around the seams where you just have to push a little harder to get through. As long as your needle is sharp and your fingers are strong you can do it!!
I love this! Will get the pattern on Etsy! Just curious.. do you recommend using any other stitches? Like a lazy daisy? Or bullion stick for the lavender? I’m wondering if you use simple stitches because it’s on clothing and the other stitches don’t hold up well in wash? Or ?
You mentioned at the end that you would talk about washing, but you ended after you hand-washed the paper away. Are the jeans still machine washable or would that ruin the embroidery? Thanks so much for the tutorial!!
I had seen a floral design that I wanted to embroider on the back of a denim jacket. But I was not sure how to do it...I know of five different ways to transfer a design, but this one is awesome for clothes!! I never heard of sticky fabri solvy...it is far better than using the tissue paper method! You did a beautiful job on your jeans. 😍 I have one question: would a gentle wash in the washing machine remove the last of the residue? (after the initial washing in the sink).
Hey! I would recommend hand wash just for the most gentle wash. If you happen to throw them in the machine it’s not the end of the world but over time with machine washes this could be harder on your stitches.
Definitely! If you have stabilizer but it’s not the kind that can go through the printer, you put it over the computer screen to trace a pattern. You can use any pen or pencil for that! I usually do pencil first and then I might go over it with something darker

Beautiful pattern! This video was very clear and helpful. Thank you for taking it slow so I can follow exactly how you do it.
Thank you so much for your kind words!! Glad it was helpful to you :)
Lovely! I think I might also put a dab of fray check on my knots.
Absolutely adorable! I can't wait to get this pattern!!

Good to know thanks for watching!!
omg your video is literally a blessing! Its so easy to understand and you're really wonderful at teaching the different stiches! Thank you so much!
Great video! Btw, a lot of people use their leftover floss as stuffing for small projects. There are tons of creative uses for them :)
P.S. your etsy is amazing :) ♡

Thanks for watching!! :)
It`s veryyyyy cute!!!
Очень, очень красиво!
I think it's a whole lot easier to do an overhand knot in your floss BEFORE cutting off the end.

@@riverbirchthreads4791 And use a thimble if necessary.
Thank you!😊
Great tutorial, thank you! Can you wash them in the washing machine after you’ve stitched them? Thank you 🌻🌻
Thanks for watching! I wouldn’t recommend machine wash no. It’s hard on the stitching and will wear it out faster! Hand wash if possible:)
Yay, thank you so much for posting this tute!
Thanks for watching!

@@deliabottoms285 I’m sure you’d be safe to do a gentle washing machine wash… definitely handwashing is safest but I’m thinking it would be ok!
It’s amazing!
I’m only wondering - ist it ok to wash clothes with embroidery in washing machine and also use dryer?
Très, très mignon ❤ . Pour moi pour me faciliter la vie je me servirai d'un cerceau.

When separating the thread it just made a huge knot
You have to go slow and a good trick is to hold one end of the floss between your knees and pull down. Having the tension will help the floss not knot

Thanks lovely 🙏🏼
Que lindo, inscrevi no seu canal.
Just bought your pdf. Can you list the embroidery floss colors needed for this project?
omg i was wondering when you'd post again!

LOVE THIS TUTORIAL 😍 where can I buy the sticker paper? I can’t find it anywhere in stores🤧

@@riverbirchthreads4791 thank you so so much!!! 🥰
Loved the video!! Are this washer machine safe once they’re finished?
these *
Thank you!! I would recommend hand washing!
Lovely. Do you iron on fabric on backside to cover and protect embroidery?
I don’t personally but I know some people like to do that! I haven’t found any of my embroidered clothing has worn from wear on the back’
Love this idea!!! Why are all your replies to the comments below not visible?
Thank you! I’m not sure? Can you see them when you click the “view reply”?
@@riverbirchthreads4791 - I could not, there was just a blank spot. But now I can. Magic! Thanks. :)
I would like to know the same, please.
want to repeat it on my jeans
Do it!

incredibile, stanks you
got the link to get the stabliser?
Hi! Quick question, is it still safe to was these in the washer or is it not, like, i wouldn't want my stitches coming off.
Hey! I would recommend hand wash just for the most gentle wash. If you happen to throw them in the machine it’s not the end of the world but over time with machine washes this could be harder on your stitches.
Would you be able to draw a pattern on stabilizer? And if so what kind of pen would you need to use? Btw I love your videos they’re super helpful :)
Definitely! If you have stabilizer but it’s not the kind that can go through the printer, you put it over the computer screen to trace a pattern. You can use any pen or pencil for that! I usually do pencil first and then I might go over it with something darker
What do you mean when you say doubled over
Where can I get the pattern please

How can I order your patterns ??
Hi there! Thanks for watching. You can order my patterns off my Etsy shop River Birch Threads - it’s linked in the video bio
How do we get the pattern?
The pattern and PDF guide are available on my Etsy shop linked in the video description
You don't need a hoop for this??
It’s optional! Denim being a thicker material is a bit sturdier
