Who told you that imports are closed? Quite the contrary, the economic policy of the new government opened imports even more, in fact they were never closed, only somewhat restricted in previous governments.
Another fun fact, the people you showed are not homeless people, the first person ( 1:43 )is just a recycler looking for cardboard or paper to recycle, and the rest are just poorly dressed people who live in the poorest neighborhoods of the city, everyone has their home , humble but they have it. They just go into town during the day looking for some temporary work, or simply to beg, it is a kind of scam, appealing to the pity of some tourists, that's all.
You should inform yourself more before giving your opinion.

I'm Argentine and the situation is bad, but I see a very marked bias in your video, there are literally 20 times more homeless people in New York or San Francisco than in Buenos Aires, but you had the attitude to highlight that and the economic situation, man, lots of TV.

So what? I believe there is more homeless people in some other places also , but i am talking from my own experience ? Why does it trigger you so much ? Did i say it is a proven fact or something ? No . I said “i have never seen so many” :)
+ i have already visited Colombia and i can say that the situation out there is worse , especially with drug addicts , which i have seen a lot because i was in the very heart of places they are normally, providing content for volunteers that help them get up on their feet :) It is just sad that those countries face this, especially Argentina , i believe a lot of people left on the streets because of inflation and government issues, which is not citizens fault (in US it is not the case, but i cant say a word as i spent only 19h there once in my life)

@@erychist If I go to New York with my camera, and I record 5 homeless people, and I start my video like this, adding as content that New York is a misery, with a negative view, and believing myself to be the judge of the world ..... am I being authentic ? am I bringing reality ? or just my intention to give the worst image to the city ? I think I would be being stupid. That's what you are doing in BA.

I live in California, LA Area and there are a million times more homeless people here in the US than anywhere else in the western hemisphere and I have travelled extensively, so I'm not talking out of my a**. This guy is, as you @lohagopormi1610 very well point out biased and trying to show Buenos Aires as a 'hell hole" when, in reality, it is one of the most interesting, beautiful and peculiar cities IN THE WORLD. I have come across hundreds of people who have travelled there and ALL of them agreed that it's an especially beautiful city, but when you are expecting only the worst, your brain only focuses on that. You literally filmed every homeless person on the street, you didn't let a single one pass, I'm not from Buenos Aires but I know Buenos Aires and it's far from having a crisis of people on the street, and that they can rob you at exchange offices. You invented it from who knows where. It's not that it happens from time to time, it just DOESN'T HAPPEN. I mean, where did you come from, if you wanted to see marginality or poverty you could go to some poor neighborhoods in the capital there if it's dangerous.

I am from Buenos Aires and I am glad to see a video showing the other side of the city. The city itself is beautiful, but we can't deny all those homeless around. Unfortunately, there are a lot of lazy people in my beautiful city.
I also been in San Francisco, California, and I saw streets (like Tenderloin) completely full of homeless and zombies (addicts).
I guess, these type of people are common in big cities.

After BA i visited more places in Colombia , such as El Bronx de Medellin , and after those BA looked amazing for sure, its just perspectives and specific moments.
Currently i am in Vietnam and even tho this is not a wealthy country citizenwise - it is a very safe place all around and you dont see many homeless people around (family stays with family) .
I believe BA could be way better , but the government issues stop it from happening .

Nop Barrio 31 definitely NOT the most dangerous. In fact, with all the urbanization they are doing, it's getting safer and safer. You gotta get out of the Capital and then into "Conurbano", then go to La matanza, or Mataderos, villa La Caba. That's where the real fun is. I appreciate the effort, but you gotta keep on looking if you want to find the "most" dangerous barrio.

My full video tour , and chat with a local contact is coming soon , and probably will be the only one , that shows the real barrio 31 as of nowadays , because the rest of the videos on youtube are not showing even a half of the barrio and all the development is getting done around that are by government.

We fell in live with Argentina and Buenos Aires, we went many times. The homeless people it’s not more that any large city with economic problem and not enough appartements for everybody. Now everybody is one bad decision away from homelessness. They don’t bother you, just walk or give something like buy an extra choripan to give to one homeless. The spanish language is different it’s call rioplatense. Always better to know some expressions before you go. You can find alot on TH-cam. Argentinians are so nice and helpfull people its their country, their traditions. Us as tourist it’s our duty to accommodate to theirs not the other way around. They had a 200% inflation last year, what was yours.

Robbery in asia if happens , doesnt happen with the violence , what i cant say about Latin American countries in general and there is nothing to argue about .
The percentage of thief and robbery is higher also . It is statistics .
And people in , lets say, Argentina - dont do it just because they want to do it . You are correct about Asia, and you can see it with the immigration that comes to the US. Asians perform better than even Americans at universities, while students from Latin America under perform. And the same thing with crime, for whatever reason Europe and Asia are safe, while in Latin America your chances of being robbed or murdered are way higher. As an Argentinian myself, I found them incredibly arrogant when I was living there, they think they are the best when in fact they are one of the worse off countries.

The title about avoiding trouble, is so morbid and extremely biased that you really need troubles, otherwise you can't make a video and make money. So tired of morbidity, when you have millions of positive things in a city, be it this city, or any city in the world.

Thanks for your comment , although i dont really make money out of youtube , and i definitely have seen more than just that . In the upcoming videos i will be showing and palermo at night , and villa 31 , and trying foods and walking around the city with friend and seeing places .
Showing the reality of the city doesnt have to do anything with USA , you cannot disagreee that level of povetry and huge inflation is a huge issue of Argentina , and as in a big city - you gotta see it widely .
Whereas you are telling to close your eyes on the problems and look just on the good side - is one of the main issues why you have those problems .
In my point of view you need to focus on this , as without noticing , you wont do any steps forward to prevent that , and it is not “just government” issues .
It is a reality , and more than a half citizens in Buenos Aires hardly paying off bills - is a huge issue .
And trust me i have been in a lot of cities around the world .
Such high level of homeless i have seen only Colombia and Argentina (around few LATAM countries ) but colombia has bigger struggle with drug consumption . I hope i answered you

@@erychist I don't think that the USA is only about homeless people, drugs, fen ta nyl, corruption, obese people and other barbarities. A bit tired that some people come to Buenos Aires with the morbid proposal of only showing what in the end is not a tourist attraction, and that can be repeated and found in every country, the negative aspects of each city. That's all, boy, you need to make a fuss to generate visits, we understand your need.

    • @erychist
      @erychist  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@BUENOSAIRES4K well i think exactly opposite . There is thousands of videos about Pizzerias , about Splendid and other activities in Buenos Aires and not so many people show the reality . I never said that USA is just about homeless people and drugs , i am not even from UsA to say that .
But , in my personal preferences , i like to see both sides of the coin : and good and pretty places (which in Buenos Aires are mainly touristy) , and a bit of a harsh reality , because in the end of the day - this is what matters . Well being of the country, and people living there .
Bear in mind i have not said any bad words , i only mentioned that it is sad , to see it , and that Argentina is going through some bad times , which is undoubtedly true .
Funny fact that majority of good people on my way i meet in barrios , in poor neighbourhoods and undeveloped places, so i dont really see the point of your message. Next video (tomorrow) will show walking tour around Palermo, where you can see beauty of nightlife in BA , next video up will be from La Boca and other places , and ending it up with Villa 31 , which i filmed in the real way. Majority of people only show “bad” side of barrio, but i run through whole neighbourhood with contact , got deep into history, saw how it is developing and so on , and all this will be in the video, showing actually , how good it is or becoming good .
      So no offense .
And yes you are right , some of the titles for the videos might be a bit agressive , but this is the time we live in , apparently .

@@erychist Many of the travellers don't know the country, they come from far away travelling (some with prejudices rooted in ignorance, included), maybe 12 hours travelling, many of them the first time they visit the city, and they dedicate 15 minutes to make a video, half of it is pure morbid, marking the negative things they find on their way. You don't enjoy what's good about the city and also YOU DON'T KNOW IT, that's why you focus on the morbid. You do all this and the first thing you see is the negative, when the city has thousands of positive things, millions. I don't think you know how to make videos otherwise. You are a traveler ? show all the good things you find, we know the negative is present in every corner of the world, but the attractions of each city we do not know, then dedicate yourself to show us this. Do you think, that making a tourist video is showing pizzerias? You have to study at least a whole day, what attractions the city has, the brands of pizzerias are not tourist attractions.

@@BUENOSAIRES4K pizzeerias was just an example, as this is one of the most famous things people do (no wonder one place has 100.000 reviews) . Anyways, looks like u dont really understand what i said in a previous reply. I prefer to see both sides of the coin, and if i feel to showcase this side of the coin - i will . you can see the beauty by typing "top 10 attractions in buenos aires", but this is not the reality of the city, of the country, of the economic situation in it, of the people suffering and other things. Stay in a bubble and pretend , that everything is calm, nice and beautiful :) Have a great day

This can be called an “introduction” for Buenos Aires and Argentina overall, as more videos are coming from this city , such as Nightlife Walking tour, so called “most dangerous” neighbourhood , and some more , so make sure to subscribe , put the notification bell “on” and be ready 🤭
