Dawn, I had a special cousin that left this world a few years ago leaving behind 2 nice boys who now have children of their own she would have loved. My cousin had MS and ever since she was diagnosed with it, I started giving to that cause. I use to work at a nursing home and I know what a debilitating disease MS can be for some people. I am glad you are able to work on crafts/creations but, from your words at the end, your a faith based person which is so wonderful and God will bless you and he will never leave your side. Stay close to Him. We are in the palm of Christ's hands. In 2016 the first day of my vacation and literally within 15 minutes of being at the beach with my mom standing by my side I was involved in a freak accident. 30 years ago I would have had to have my right leg taken off but, now with wonderful doctors and their knowledge and bone donors and bone grafting and 6 screws and a 14 inch plate I was able to keep my leg. I moved in with my mom temp because I was non-weight bearing for 4 months and had in house PT and later out patient PT. I was never a person that liked to exercise other than a walk around the lake near where I live but, I wanted to walk again and keep my range of motion and so I did all I needed to at home and in rehab for exercise. I was out of work for 6 months and I didn't have disability insurance and my once good bank account was dwindling but, God met all my needs. I walked a month before I was suppose to due to my practicing when my mom was asleep and I would walk around the entire queen size bed in the middle of the night. During the day before I was allowed to be weight bearing my brother made me a bed desk out of a light type of wood and my sister brought over my stamp pads and my rubber stamps. I made all of my thank you cards - made sometimes 10 cards a day. I kept up my beading. At the time I was 52 and I have been beading since I was 9. I made jewelry for all 15 therapists even the clerical staff at the rehab facility. Jesus, family, friends and crafts kept me going. At the beginning I felt very down and very sad - I had ruined my mom's summer vacation I felt like even though the accident was due to someone else's negligence. My dad came up to the beach in NJ to pick me up in his van because I needed to keep my leg out straight for 4 weeks. I had literally from my hip to my toes a 13 lbs cast on. The day we left was my birthday and it was the first time my parents had seen each other in many years or spoken to one another. Later it became the only silver lining there was with my getting hurt because my family came back together with dad picking me up at my mom's for therapy, and coming to the house for my bday celebration in Sept as I was still just learning how to walk by then. But, the time stuck in bed gave me no excuse to say I didn't have time to read my Bible. I got back into the scriptures and read a good CS Lewis book and other Christian books. I have been numb on the outside of my leg since my surgery but, I now have horrible pain inside my leg almost everyday of my life but, I count my blessings everyday and I walk without a limp. My leg is slightly curved but, you don't notice it much unless I stand still and I notice it in photographs but, I keep remembering everyday, this is nothing compared to what others are going thru. I have never been a parent so I cannot relate to you in that way and have never had a disease ever in my life so I have not been in your shoes there either, but, again, God will never leave your side. I do not know where you live but, I am sorry we are not neighbors because I would come and pray with you and help you in any way I could and I would craft with you. You will be in my prayers tonight and for the tomorrows to come. It is 2:30 am and the hours will go quick until I have to go to work so I better close. I am sorry for the novel. My family hates my emails. I am glad I scrolled down to read other comments as I often do and I am glad I noticed yours. God bless you always and read Colossians 1:11. Very creative! Loved your pumpkin sign! One thing I would have done was remove the metal leaf on the front of the sign and paint it a miss green & add it to your DIY pumpkin sign or save it for another DIY project.

Dear Mam, Wow what an awesome arrangement you did in every way!!Your detail for for color(s) and arrangement/composition was outstanding!! Your using that large pumpkin in a craft - your video is the best I have seen so far. Funny, you published that video on the 15th, I bought the large pumpkin on the 16th. I didn't see your video until tonight. When I arrived home last Friday night, I took off the raffia ribbon by the stem and saved it for another project. I haven't really done anything with it but, I am thinking about adding 2 other cut out leaf patterns in fall colors using felt and making vanes in the leaf with Martha Stewart fine glitter and putting a more attractive bow on it. Well, that was my original plan until I saw your idea tonight. I also bought the pumpkin for my mom's front door of her house and she has a dark wooden door and I thought the foil silver leaf with brighten up her door. Your blue pumpkin tied in nicely with your blue door. My mom's favorite flower is Black Eyed Suzie's so I would like to find a couple of them to place at the bottom of the pumpkin. I am getting ready to move at the end of September and I met with the painter last night for an estimate on painting my bedroom and bathroom and I picked Soft Sage by PPG. I have never used chalk paint before - that is all my sister ever uses for projects and I would like to check out your celery to see if it would be a good accent color for different projects I would like to hang/display in my new painted room. Thank you for an awesome idea/video. I have saved it to my favorites. I watch tons of videos every night for new inspirations (when I should be packing) and your video is the first one I have saved to my favorites so far for this Fall's ideas. I haven't seen any of your videos until tonight but, I am going to look for you again. I am glad your video is current so I know I can find your supplies at the DT. Dear Mam, Wow what an awesome arrangement you did in every way!!Your detail for for color(s) and arrangement/composition was outstanding!! Your using that large pumpkin in a craft - your video is the best I have seen so far. Funny, you published that video on the 15th, I bought the large pumpkin on the 16th. I didn't see your video until tonight. When I arrived home last Friday night, I took off the raffia ribbon by the stem and saved it for another project. I haven't really done anything with it but, I am thinking about adding 2 other cut out leaf patterns in fall colors using felt and making vanes in the leaf with Martha Stewart fine glitter and putting a more attractive bow on it. Well, that was my original plan until I saw your idea tonight. I also bought the pumpkin for my mom's front door of her house and she has a dark wooden door and I thought the foil silver leaf with brighten up her door. Your blue pumpkin tied in nicely with your blue door. My mom's favorite flower is Black Eyed Suzie's so I would like to find a couple of them to place at the bottom of the pumpkin. I am getting ready to move at the end of September and I met with the painter last night for an estimate on painting my bedroom and bathroom and I picked Soft Sage by PPG. I have never used chalk paint before - that is all my sister ever uses for projects and I would like to check out your celery to see if it would be a good accent color for different projects I would like to hang/display in my new painted room. Thank you for an awesome idea/video. I have saved it to my favorites. I watch tons of videos every night for new inspirations (when I should be packing) and your video is the first one I have saved to my favorites so far for this Fall's ideas. I haven't seen any of your videos until tonight but, I am going to look for you again. I am glad your video is current so I know I can find your supplies at the DT. I did not see the little pumpkin/football swag at my DT as of last Friday but, maybe I missed one aisle. I went in for packing tape and was surprised they didn't have any. Have a great week!
