I’ve commented on this numerous times below, but I’m putting it here as well. I did not leave the bottom on the plunger simply for the fact that this one came from Dollar Tree, it is very flexible, and will not hold the weight of the tree if you just glue it down as is to the tray. Even if you stuff the bottom, it will lean. If you want to purchase a more costly plunger, then do so. I keep my videos as closely related to Dollar Tree items as possible.
I am so in love with this! And I don't usually like fall decor. Guess I'm in the minority of the people who doesn't like farmhouse. But this? I love! You are so darling. 💞
I love this tree! I was looking at one in the Country Door catalogue and believe it was around 70.00! I think it was in a flower pot. Yours is just the right size for a tabletop or console. Hugzzz and prayers for continued recovery! I am so glad to hear you again!
I sure do love this and it will work great for Halloween as well as Thanksgiving, thank you again so much, I am going in the morning to see if I can find a truck to use I have rounded up everything else, God Bless and please do keep the videos coming as I sure do enjoy them and I see so many others do also :-) Linda from Georgia :-)
I love this project! I have seen similar projects on other channels but yours is great & ALL supplies came from the $ Tree! Love that. You make me laugh & you are funny which is great. Will be making this.
Thank you 💜 I see someone else has made one as well. And that was my fault for posting it on my blog, and then waiting until after I was healed up from jaw surgery to make the video. Lesson learned.
I think there are craft trolls out there that regardless how awesome the video is, they just have to give it a thumbs down. Some people are just miserable and want others to feel like they do! Notice that these thumb down people never say why they don’t like it.
I made this tree this morning! It is so very beautiful! Thank you so very much for your advice! Love Love Love it very much! A friend saw it and couldn’t believe it was from a plunger! She wants me to make her one. Going toDT on Wednesday so will pick up everything to make hers!
I made one and am working on my second one. I used to live in NY and now am in Florida. I miss the leaves changing. Thank you so much. I have fall leaves. Yeah.
Adorable! Love the idea and definitely worth making. Maybe as a suggestion, work the first layer of twine down as you are gluing and then back up the other way while capturing the string of lights. Can't wait to see the next video.
I did it the way I did because I was trying to press the string of lights in between the stalks of the leaves as much as possible to try to keep it as flat as possible.
Somehow i missed this video. This is super cute and a great idea. I love the truck so i hope i can find something like it to use. TFS your ideas with us Amber and taking the time to show us such budget friendly crafts. I dont always have the money to buy expensive craft supplies but dollar tree has such affordable prices that i can make more stuff. Im sure others can relate to this. thanks again and God Bless
I just love watching your videos, you make it look so simple, I have tried a couple of your videos last year, I am nowhere close to even looking as awesome as your crafts, maybe one day I will succeed in making some of my crafts as well as you do. Plus I love listening to you. Keep on showing your videos.
This is so pretty and a great idea. I was thinking that if I made it I would leave the plunger bottom on it instead of the foam. I can cover it with moss and it might be more sturdy of a base. Thanks so much for sharing.
I usually give my crafts a few test runs before I make the video. The rubber part of this plunger is very flexible, and will not hold the weight of the tree, even if you stuff the bottom. The tree will lean.

I'm new to your channel, this is my second video on your channel I've watched...I have to say it but I love your accent! Lol. And this diy, OMG...it's so beautiful!! Thanks so much, Southern Girl!! ☺💗
I'm from the south too and I have the same accent . She is funny too . I'm new to her channel and I could tell right of the bat I'm gonna love her !! ☺❤
@@bonniebrown6960 She is funny, I could tell from acouple of her videos I've watched so far and seems very laid back and down to earth, easy to get along with... I have to admit, I'm not a fan of ppl with strong accents but a southern accent I like! Lol.
Super super SUPER cute!! Def one of my favs this year! So original and I love how it's a whole scene!! Plus my Dollar tree here SUCKS so I have to use some things from Dollar General (which btw has the CUTEST fall decor this year) so it's nice to see a bit of different products from diff stores! I would LOVE to see a video of some remakes using common household items that don't have to be purchased. I know for many many years I made decorations for my home using cardboard glue and glitter! Lol. My kids loved it and now enjoy making the same!
I recently saw this tree made with the plunger on another crafters video but she didn’t secure hers down and kept the plunger head still on it. Yours is so much more secure and more detailed with the other items below on the platter. I am going to try to make one like yours and have s few ideas of my own! Thanks for your great ideas!
Love this!!! Hope you are feeling better and getting back to normal (whatever normal is... for any of us). Your tutorials always get my mind racing!! Thank you so much!
Oh my goodness...I have been watching dozens and dozens of fall decor videos and this project is my absolute favorite!! This is just adorable!!🤗🍁🍃🍂🐿🧡 Thx so much for sharing!!
I went to DT last night. Got 8 bunches of leaves and the flower bucket. They did not have any plungers. Will try another store today. Thanks for great How To video. I really like your tree.
So pretty! Love it! I got a truck very similar to that at hobby lobby for around $4 (on sale, of course, 40% off $5.99) but It didn't have anything in the back like that. I ended up buying some small Halloween village type resin pumpkins to put in the back. I just went to dt and bought a bunch of leaves to make this. Thanks so much for sharing!
I love this idea, was getting ready to make some center pieces with these truck from dollar general. I love the way your turned out. I may try a smaller tree to see how it will work. Many Thanks for always sharing your ideas....
That is as cute as can be and as clever as all get out! If only I had an ounce of your imagination I’d be dangerous! Thanks for the inspiration! Kris P
I got my tree made today!!! I didn’t follow all your directions because I’m a dork & get ahead of myself. 🤣 But it turned out really nice! Attaching the lights was kind of difficult but I got it done. I had a mild panic attack when I realized I hadn’t tested the lights first but thankfully they all worked. I’m going to decide tomorrow is I want a scene like you did or I want to put it in a large hurricane vase. Thank you for all your fabulous ideas & videos!!!
Such a wonderful scene. Absolutely love love love this project. Also, your nails are gorgeous! Plan on making this as well as a Christmas scene. Thanks for sharing the idea.
Hello I just found you’re channel. I also subscribed. I was so glad I decided to watch your video. I used to live in Morganton NC about 20 years ago. NC is such a beautiful place, I miss it sometimes. I’m disabled now so I don’t travel now. I enjoy your DIY’s. Thank you for sharing.
I made one of these last night I love it a little different but still so cute I would insert a picture but I'm not seeing a button to allow me to I also plan to do a Christmas and Halloween version of thisyou're a big inspiration thank you I love all your videos you're the one who taught me how to make my wreaths and I made one for every season every year for family and friends

I love listening to you talk as much as I love your crafts!

I must say, this is the third plunger tree I've seen and by far the best one.. it looks full and the lights was the icing on the cake...well done..
Thank you 💜 I see someone else has made one as well. And that was my fault for posting it on my blog, and then waiting until after I was healed up from jaw surgery to make the video. Lesson learned.
That is too dang awesome!
WHY anybody would give it a thumbs down is beyond me

I made it and I love it. It's beautiful when the sunlight catches the leaves. Thank you so much for sharing this idea! 🍂🍁
