We dont use P90s here in the US. M4/M16 magazines are 10000% easier to load than a P90. When i picked up a P90 for the first time it took me about 5mins to load one of these mags to a max cap it was a nightmare
Thanks for the loafing hint. I just got my P50 the other day. Going shooting tomorrow, and was having difficulty following the manual's loading instructions.
Good tip. Thanks Yeah, I added the Man Kave rollers too. Can't say it helped any. But my Promoted Pawn trigger Creep Killer DID help quite a bit. Easy to install. Aftermarket low Pic. rail for my Vortex SPARC 2 red dot is great. Sight alignment is now perfect.
It's a unique magazine design. At the end of the magazine the round makes a 90 degree turn so it can be loaded into the chamber when the bolt is cycled. The magazines are reloaded by inserting the round and pushing down, which rotates it to line up with the rest of the rounds in the magazine. This magazine can hold 50 rounds.
To load a p90 mag start with the first round pushing in from where it extracts out the mag then for the rest of the rounds push the base of the round onto the round already in the mag at the neck of the casing and it should push that round into the mag further
@@blazinpuffs Ammo brand should not make a difference. Sounds like your follower or spring is binding up. Do you have more than one magazine you can try?
I think it's called clamp the thing you put on something to hold it down and put some clamp on the mag and the table to hold it in place. Um really surprised to see how easy it is to reload that thing.
ProMags are built differently. I could not load them. After the first round the loader would not rotate a full 90°.I returned them to KelTek for a refund. I cannot find real FN 50 round magazines anywhere, even the FN Shop was out of stock.
@@DEARERFOB771 i own many AKs and have trained with them the most and would be my go-to gun in most situations. However the PS90 is so light and compact, almost no recoil with insanly fast followup shots. Its what I keep by the bed with a red dot. Great indoor weapon as I worry about penetration inside a house. 5.7 dumps its energy pretty quickly than a lot of rounds. The speed its going creates rifle type permanent wound cavity but won't go though 5 walls after. I just adore it. Even in a hand gun its just fun plus the 20+ capacity in a handgun is good. And inexperienced shooters love it. My 7 year old started on it after a .22 bolt action for her first semi auto. It has its place but man it sucks to buy ammo at 53 bucks a box.
That ammo has never been cheap. I am hoping with all of the new guns coming out in 5.7 it will start going down in price for the ammo. I bought cheap and stacked deep a lot of other calibers like .308 for $.11 shipped per round and 5.56 for $.08 shipped, CCI .22lr for $.03 shipped. I would love to on the 5.7 but that ammo is going to have to come down to at least $.30 a round in order for me to justify it.
@@montanaplease Pretty good price on the 5.56 for sure that must have been a while back. PS90 was my first stamped sbr. Can't remember exactly what I paid for the ammo but it was way less than current prices.
In 2016 you could buy 57 ammo for $.30 a round. But in my eyes back then that was too expensive Especially compared to other rounds. Today however with the climate I would buy a bunch of it for that price. Couldn’t justify it in those days but I could today
I see why it's +85% slower inserting cartridge speed for Escape from Tarkov
I love the Kel-Tec instructions on it, "Just load it." Thanks Kel-Tec, super helpful. One picture and like 20 words used to explain this process.
Keltec? The P90 is FN
@@ihtenubz9697 P50? That's Kel-Tec. Love it, no recoil, but it does use the PS90 mags.

thank u even tho i dont have one makes me appreciate the gun more cause of how u used the table or some flat surface to load it easier
Isn't loading high capacity mags fun? Good tip, though. I've been using pens and whatnot to push cartridges for some time. Saves my fingers.

thank you now my wife can load it too
i don't even own a p90 mag or anything, i just got curious about how this functions
thank you :)

hey if you can somehow secure that magazine with a clamp on the table to prevent it from moving around, that would be super great.
A translucent mag made of steel? Are you serious?
mag is made from polycarbonate

Back when you could find 5.7x28
Speed is essential; n defeating the Gould
A simple jig to hold the mag in place would help a lot
I've tried it but at about 25 rounds in it's hard as hell to load anymore rounds into it. Yes I've got the 50 round mag.
Are you loading genuine FNH magazines that do not have the capacity limiter?
@@TechSledge it's the magazine that came with the Ps90 it even says 50 on the magazine.

Dude that must be a complete nightmare to fully load it in 20min and then unload it in less than 30 sec
Once you get the hang of it you can load a whole magazine in less than a minute.

Nah just need something metal to start pushing the bullets in the direction they need to go and the clip is new so it’s probably stiff AF
Clip? It's a magazine. :)
I can rest easy now
I'm just now learning how awful it is to load these mags with stock rollers.
