In my country (Ecuador) they sell in Nutella in glass, too
I've tasted more than 10 different Nutella variants from different countries by traveling around and here is my ranking:
1. Italy (simply the best one)
2. France (really soft and creamy)
3. Sweden (very nutty)
4. Denmark (small difference in consistency to the swedish one, a little less creamy)
5. Switzerland (really chocolaty and sweet)
6. Germany and Austria (really intense chocolate taste, no noticeable difference between Ger and Aus)
7. Netherlands (slightly sweeter than 1-6)
8. Britain and Scotland (very much like 7 but generally less taste)
9. Australia (consistency a little less creamy)
10. Thailand (only had in on pancakes and it wasn't as good as the ones above)
Please note that this ranking is my personal opinion and my Nutella experience might have been influenced by various factors. This is not a top 10 list, I just ranked all the countries Ive tried nutella in so far. LOVE EVERY KIND OF NUTELLA:)

Americans always make a big deal out of simple things: Oh my god, Nutella! This is so amazing! Its addicting! Its just chocolate cream, calm down. Nutella is in Europe since 65 and It never was a big deal, just sweet stuff you put on your bread. (Kids mostly)

Italian is such a beautiful language to hear. I wish I didn't speak English so I could hear what it sounds like to a non native ear. I have a feeling it'll sound like a less harsh version of German. Can anyone validate this?

I have the same question for Greek since a lot of people confuse the pronunciation with spanish but I think that there is a difference

My friends like to say that Italian sounds more like singing, and German... well let‘s say it doesn‘t. But we German-speakers don‘t actually think that German sounds that harsh, I mean we know it‘s not that smooth but it‘s just our mother tongue so it sounds totally normal to us. I think Italian is more similar to French than to German because I learn French at school and there are quite some similarities. I hope I was able to help you with that.

I loved the Italian one because you can reuse the Nutella jar into a drinking glass and you can use the seal as a cover for the glass if you have leftover milk or any kinds of drinks and also it was a little bit less sweet which makes me even more love it.
And for the people saying the language is beautiful, it really is. My dad was born and natively speaks Sicilian-Italian. I love hearing him and his family speak in that language. I speak very little, like example I could understand little of the language.

Ma continuo a dire che non tutti sono portati come noi, ci sono persone (magari anche con qualche limitazione, dislessici per esempio) che proprio non gli entra in testa la lingua straniera e non mi sembra rispettoso il comportamento di BuzzFeed nei loro confronti e nei confronti degli italiani. Voglio dire secondo questo ragionamento non dovrebbero mettere neanche i sottotitoli in inglese perché gli americani ignoranti dovrebbero imparare l'italiano.

In Europe there are also different Nutellas: I tried German, Italian, Spanish and Poland Nutella. The best is clearly Italian.
I've had the British, American and Italian versions. British is the same as American really a thinner texture that is more sugary. The Italian one is SO much nicer, it's a thicker consistency and has a more pure chocolate and hazlenutty taste to it

I don't hear the stupid stereotypical italian talking that everybody talks about in the US.

There are lots of accents in Italy. These people's accent is more from northern Italy. The stereotypical accent is the one from southern Italy. The northern one is more clear and sounds so much better (or at least to me, that I was born here), while people in the south are not used to speak Italian since they mostly speak local dialects that influence their way of speaking. There are stereotypes because in the last two centuries poor people from the south (like 99,9% were from the south ahahah) emigrated to America so Americans know Italians only from these people, but in actual facts, Italy is culturally divided (also because it was united less than 155 years ago) and there's a huge difference among people from different places. By the way, I don't want to generalize and I don't mean to offend anyone with this comment.

In southern Sardinia we speak the purest Italian you can Hear. In the others parts of Italy you hear accents and dialects that make umpire the language. By the way you can clearly understand by their accent where they live

Didn't know the american nutella jars were plastic. Where i live (netherlands) we have that american style jar made of glass and a drinking glass filled so u can re-use it like the italian thing.

We have the larger one also in Italy, same shape but it's made out of glass. Maybe that has to do with the taste: Coca Cola too tastes better from glass bottles
