KOF 94 Remake. Stages in 3D. Arrange OST. Completely new intro. Similar gameplay as NEOGEO. The Namco stick works very well. Anyway, i prefer the AES version.

The animated intro to this game is awesome, the game itself is awesome, but I never play with the new backgrounds. No, I use the arranged music, with the original backgrounds, and the redone higher res fighter sprites actually don't clash with those old backgrounds. IMO the newer updated backgrounds are eyesores. And the fact that you even get the original game in AES form to play as well, but at least the updated game lets you edit your team. This way I can put together my Mai, Athena, and Yuri team (my own version of the Women's Team) I use in the other games.
Don't feel bad about that loss to Heidern and the Ikari Team, they are one of the toughest teams to beat in the game, their moves hit hard, and Heidern can be rather cheap.

Agree with you about the stage. I’m not convinced. The original are incredible. And of course, the AES version is my favorite. It is a curious and value remake.
