I added purphoros god of the forge (foil etched because I’m financially irresponsible) to this deck a few days ago, and had a tight game where I made 2 tokens that pinged my opponent, then had a skull clamp, I had just enough mana to attach to purphoros, which was EXACTLY lethal damage 😅 such a good upgrade for this deck!!
Mana echoes, reconnaissance, tenacious underdog, cathars crusade and a commander mustard. Maybe some graveyard tutors to gain access to sac targets and anger/valor graveyard abilities.
With you playing Anim Pakal, a good include that I added to my Caesar deck is Jan Jansen Chaos Crafter. If you’re mana stuck and if you have some of the artifact gnome’s, sack them and make 2 treasure tokens for one artifact creature.
I thoroughly disagree with Wild Wasteland's assessment of being bad. Sure, in the early game, dropping this might cut you out from a few good higher cost options. But, this card just lets you see more cards in general. It might not be as necessary in this three color deck. However, if you were in mono-red or a two color combination that didn't have as many card draw options, this is fantastic.
Oh without a doubt. I like the card a lot. Didn’t mean to say it was a bad card by any means. Just felt like the deck was getting up there in the enchantment department and with our commander having built in card draw, the card wasn’t necessarily needed in the deck. I would put this card in my Prosper deck as soon as it’s out! -Hunter
I added them when I decided to go for a more Aristocrat / drain strategy instead of a Go wide one, and I´m loving it. Grave Pact is perfect por this deck, and if you add more sac outlets like Ashnods altar and something like Blood artist you get all of the perks (mana, getting rid of creatures and draining your opponents).
Got both gods in the deck today for my birthday along with a really nice playmat! Still looking for what card I should replace the Medkit artifact card with though.
Used this as a base to build my caesar deck and some games I don’t even need to cast my commander! Some more includes I think are needed that I added to mine: Esper sentinel Impact tremors Smothering tithe(not really on theme but, token doublers and gets bigger hits out quicker) Mirkwood bats Ojer taq Mondrak glory dominus God eternal oketra Marionette apprentice Ogre slumlord Roaming throne Orcish bowmasters (this one is great because combo is you double triple quadruple the token created and then they die due to being 0/0 and ping off both on etb and death from bats, apprentice, elas il kor etc, warleaders call, purphoros its sickening)
@@GuysThatMagic thanks! Love your guys vids! Went a diff route and leaned in on proliferate with motan and tried to keep as much rad counter cards as I could but respect your takes!
its a really powerful card, but its also just an annoyance to keep track of. I started cutting it from my decks because it was just tedious and unwieldy to keep track of different numbers of creatures with different numbers of counters. Its worth playing, but i dont blame anyone for excluding it because of the amount of physical fuss and record-keeping.
I love Cathars’ Crusade. It’s pretty much my go to card in any of my counters or creatures upgrades here on the channel. That’s kind of one of the reasons I didn’t throw it into this build, because I didn’t want to be repetitive when it comes to these strategies. However, I would 100% add it into the deck if you were to upgrade it even more. First card beyond these upgrades i would add for sure! -Hunter
@@Wicknology I came up with a way to make it simpler: I keep rows of creatures separated from each other based on when they entered play while the crusade is on the field. Then, when the crusade triggers, I put a general counter dice on top of the row of creatures that where affected. Then, if other creatures come into play, I keep them separated with their own general counter dice while I modify the ones existing before. That way, I can keep track of how many counters each creature has gained and I can put each counter on top of each creature during my opponents turn OR I can keep the creatures separated and just keep modifiying or adding dice to reflect the counters. Sounds convoluted, but it makes the process way faster and I can even keep a good record of the process even when I cast more than 5 creatures in a turn, each creating tokens and such. I know because I have done it and it works, at least for me xd
@@GuysThatMagic I agree, but then maybe you can create like a "honorable mention" section where you put the "of course this card is good here" cards for the people who dont know about the card or that are new to magic and such. Keep the section short and sweet and then move on to the spicy stuff. At least thats my opinion. This was a pretty solid list and I loved the video!
I really am not a fan of this 'upgrade'. You remove what this deck is meant to do, and that is summon expendable tokens, and make it into... Something weird, that I don't personally think would be any good on the field. I'd like to see you play this exact deck in a real game.

You guys rock. Thanks for the recommendations and explaining why cards are going in or out. Can’t wait to surprise my friend with this beast of a deck
No problem! Hope your friend is in for a shock! Thanks for watching 😊
This is a cool channel. Just got into Magic. Got myself several decks including ceasar and mothman.
Thanks for watching! Two solid pickups you got there
Currently getting into mtg and bought the Caesar precon to get into it, this video helped a lot 😊
I was surprised to see no temple of the false gods lol
I was thinking of adding mirkwood bats, grave pact, and dictate of erebos.
A lot of your cards are humans so I added species specialist to my deck.

You are missing the most important infinant combo card- Breath of Fury

Happy birthday!
Used this as a base to build my caesar deck and some games I don’t even need to cast my commander! Some more includes I think are needed that I added to mine:
Esper sentinel
Impact tremors
Smothering tithe(not really on theme but, token doublers and gets bigger hits out quicker)
Mirkwood bats
Ojer taq
Mondrak glory dominus
God eternal oketra
Marionette apprentice
Ogre slumlord
Roaming throne
Orcish bowmasters (this one is great because combo is you double triple quadruple the token created and then they die due to being 0/0 and ping off both on etb and death from bats, apprentice, elas il kor etc, warleaders call, purphoros its sickening)
Sounds like some great includes!

Solid but may I suggest cutting impact tremors with warleader's call? One more mana for an anthem.
@@victorminor1283thanks appreciate it and definitely have warleaders call in there as well, redundancy is key with this deck lol
I want to see yall take all 4 decks and then combine 2 of them. Use Hail, Caesar and splice stuff from Scrappy Survivors etc pleeeeeeeaase
You guys should also add the fallout version of loyal apprentice
That’s a good budget option as well!
Love the upgrade suggestions. :)
Im curious about the exclusion of cathar's crussade. In a go wide strat like this, it sounds like a pretty good card to add.

Totally! We will think about maybe doing this for the future. Thanks for watching!
I wish the release time of these videos weren’t so long
