Not saying this to disagree (I would’t dare to). But I have a more of a casual approach to gaming as a whole. And I appreciate it being a lot more mellow these days (I’m guilded x 12). Sometimes I feel the emphasis is too much on what the challenge would be, opposed to what would be most fun. I like to hang out with friends, have a giggle & shoot stuff. I’m full after a run if it takes 40 min. When it’s more bitesized I go in again and again and tend to play way more. I fully respect your perspective though. I just know I have seen him use it many times over the years. Also with anarchy its like old times. Just need warmind cells, seventh seraphs officer revolver, and the madrugada sr2.
I don't understand anyone saying GMs are easy. For you maybe. I'm not drastically underpowered, using incorrect resistance mods, or acting simply stupid in my attempts and I still get two tapped at T10 resilience to things like snipers off in the distance before I can kill them. Been playing since D1 launch, I'm not just unfamiliar with the game. And I still can't even do a solo expert nightfall, let alone a GM, before I think to myself "I'm on run number 4 and this is already just annoying". Maybe y'all are just especially good at pve idk.
They are all lying. GMs are just plain annoying, if you dont die by those one tap snipers you will probably die by something else wich is not worth the time unless doing it with friends wich they could revive you.
I was shocked at how easy corrupted was this time around. I remember me and s friend struggling on this gm like a few years back. I hope it gets better...
Well it makes sense that corrupted is easier, it's been out for years and the sandbox is much better than what it was. A lot of weapons are stronger, and so are abilities
I understand your feelings on GMs being easy right now but even in this run you're basically "plinking" but not with bullets. Almost the entire GM is hitting with DOT effects and then going behind cover while DOT does its thing. This is basically plinking of old GMs, but with different gear doing the plink. To further that you have Anarchy on, a very old weapon that is the ultimate plinker. Prism Titan is definitely an outlier, but other than that, you still had to plink for the whole run since its solo, and thats not really a huge change to the moment to moment gameplay, other than the plinking is more cqc this current sandbox because GLs are cracked.
How's the Leveling system is it still Grind for hours on end for bare minimum exp gain's. Also how's the end game exp grind. Did they make it easier or still horrendous Etc where you get burnt out Lol 🤣😆.
I'll gild conqueror again when I feel like GMs become interesting. Right now I just don't feel an incentive to play them because the loot is rarely anything I need and they just get steamrolled.
I can give it a look in, but unfortunately the buff to Prospector wasn't really enough to make it more viable than any of the legendary counterparts. It's decent, but the Bait and Switch options will usually perform better, although I'll see if there's any use cases I can have for it

To be honest, this is probably your full time job. You essentially mastered d2. A casual player is not doing this, not even coming close to even having the thought of soloing a gm. Also, in regards to when you said that gm runs are nothing more than weapon and ability spam, what else are you supposed to do in an fps space magic game? Im a casual player and Soloing GMs are pretty easy you just need the time. These TH-camrs and streamers probably die a bunch of times before uploading the right flawless video wich probably takes hours. A casual player doesnt have that kind of time. I would just hop in with my friend do 2 or 3 GMs wich takes like 2 hours and thats it im done.
If you are soloing GMs by definition you are not a casual player..you sweated that shit out,looked up the most OP loadout and the exact weapons you would need and had a precise strategy...you are actually a hard-core destiny gaymer 😂

I engage more casually and I find expert or master to be plenty difficult. If you practice every day, eventually a task becomes easy (unless there's an element of randomness, like cards).
Bungie doesn't know how to put real difficulty on grandmasters so they go and absolutely flood them with the most annoying and excruciating modifiers known to man.

The state can’t change because we have been power crept to oblivion … if they change anything like reducing ability uptime or nerfing guns people will complain because that will make people less powerful .. that’s why sunsetting was a good thing but they got rid of that .. the only thing that can help is a total reset of the game with destiny 3
