Always preferred Tomica to other makers. Started buying them when I was a wee little boy. I always liked the Cadillacs and Rolls Royces over the hot rods. Tomica cars have an authenticity to them that some of the others dont have.
Its just amazing, your knowledge of all these different types & makes of diecast cars. I love watching all your videos. You are the inspiration for me to start collecting at 60 years old....thank you! Keep doing what you do... you rule
Thank you, and many happy journeys on your collection, it is an wonderful fun hobby full of collectors of all ages, walks of life, and interests..... welcome! And thank you for watching and your comment!
What an incredible video! I am a massive fan of Tomica and this video is a dream come true for Tomica collectors. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all, the nostalgic value of this video cannot be quantified!
I've always liked Tomica cars. I've got a few of those from my childhood. A 70s thunderbird, a SWAT team van, a fire engine, a 70s Cadillac ambulance, the red Morgan and Pillsbury model T van like you have, and probably others I can't remember. I need to dig them out. I've always liked the nice suspension they were built with.
+The beginning I agree! It's becoming the same way here in Canada too, there are almost no cars from before 1995 on the roads anymore. Insurance companies killed the last of them that survived the emissions testing pandemic.
+Friesens Diecastcollection Greetings from Canada my friend! And thank you for watching and messaging! I do love all the manufactures of small cars all over the world, there is so much variety.

Tomica is one of my favorites. I was born in 1970 so am familiar with much of the old stock. I have a fair amount of Pocket Cars by Tomica / Tomy Recently score a black Pantera in the package for around 56 bucks. VERY hard to get. Also have the silver one. Have 2 different Winnebagos unopened. A black Lambo and black Lotus unopened. All vintage. Also the Greyhound bus.
19:56 I have a Tomica Mazda RX-7 in green as well, although mine seems to be a more "deluxe" version with rubber tires and more painted detail. I got it from a Value Village toy car grab bag a few years ago... the only Tomica cars I have are Value Village finds. I have a few others including a Coca-Cola truck, a Japan Post mail truck, a Nissan ambulance, and a police car, but those ones are plastic chassis cars.
cool stuff , Tomica's were always my favorite toy cars when I was a kid growing up in Europe , now I live in Canada and they are extremely hard to find here especially the original ones made in Japan however 2 years ago I started collecting some of my favorites Tomica , such as the Fiat X/19 , Porsche 935 Turbo , Mercedes 450 SEL , Lancia Stratos Turbo , Nissan diesel dump truck in purple , and others , have a total of about 25 and most are mint or near mint , have some for trade as well , will keep on collecting for the rest of my life.
love the videos man. fellow Canadian ovee here! My buddy got me some new tomica from his trip to Korea a few years ago and they still sell them in the matchbox boxes over there and they are not the limited vintage! Very cool video!
I hope you make more videos like this soon love the old played with cars one of my favorite things to collect and find the majorettes that would be awesome to see
Its always in the last place you look. Lol. I remember all those old cases. Every time I go to look for a certain car, I can never find it. After about 10 minutes of searching.....I give up. Lol. I'll find it when I'm not looking for it anymore. 😆 You got an incredible collection! I think I actually metal detected a Tomica before. Well.......two halves of 1 truck. Lol. I actually like the worn out beat up cars. They tell a story. I'm gonna have to look into purchasing some of this brand. The old brown car with the white top looks very similar to my actual car except mine is/was blue with a white top. Very nice.
I might have to find the Toyo 2000Gt, Lotus Elite, and the Golf to add to my collection of Tomica's. I remember going to the local Ben Franklin store as a kid (8-10yrs old) and buying Tomica's. I still have a few of them from that time 40yrs ago, like my tan Toyota Land Cruiser.
Time for me to do a few videos of my Tomica cars. I still have my classic car set with the Bugatti Royals, Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, Packard Roadster, Morgan, and the Rolls-Royce you have in the case. I also have the Pocket Cars (as they were marketed in the US) race car set with a Corvette, Porsche, De Tamaso Pantera, Rodenstock Celica, and Nissan Z (I think). Then I have some other cars I got on separate cards. All are mint and complete except for the packages which are long gone, but they look like hey were just rolled off the assembly line.
You're starting to look like Tom hanks in Castaway O-Dawg lol.........man I'm glad you showed the Tomica castings...really cool to see, and several in the bunch I don't think I have ever seen....awesome!
+Hot Wheels CostaRica Hi Dave! Maybe I should get a volley ball and sit it on the table next to me, run a talk show about Hot Wheels, "the O-Dawg and Wilson car talk"...? LOL.
@19:25 nice lotus elite. i have two nib VW SP2 cars they look similar but it is a frozen car : no moving parts for the and ups . i like moving parts, hoods, doors bonnets , in 1/64 scale they look good setting nect to a HO scale RXR switch light
hey bratha!!!! you have great world to live in!!!! All those diecast. my dream to have a small portion of the room like yours. i actually started collecting redlines and vintage blackwall after watch you vids 2 yrs ago. unfortunatly all my hws are in vintage hw cases. some jammers and hot cases. cant see my collection. id like to put my collection on some kind of data base to show the diecasr and description. on my computer.anywho.... you do know that your vids are the best on youtube. exteremly imformative!!! thanks friend, lenny
+Lenny Deregules Thank you Lenny, what a compliment! I know it is tough when you have a great collection of cars and can't see them, but as long as you make a point of pulling out a case once in a while and looking through the cars, that can be a ton of fun. Just as I did in this video. You can see how many of my cars I can't see either, but without more room what's a guy to do?
Loved the Tomy cars when i was a kid - so much detail! Would have gladly traded many of my hotwheels/matchbox/corgi for more tomica. I still have a dozen or so in 'like new' condition. Also, i have 4 or 5 of the American Airlines vehicles...not sure if that's a complete set or not. Cheers!
all I got to say is can I please just spend the night in that room lol Oman I'd have a blast over there you have the best collection I've ever viewed, if one day my collection is half that size I'd be in my glory. BTW another great video man keep them coming always enjoy them !
+wtffor I bet it would there's enough of us in the Hobbie that love our cars an to be able to see a collection as extensive as your in person would be a honor
+wtffor an thanks for the videos for us to watch it's never disappointing content I always look forward to seeing the new video as I'm sure alot of your subscribers are.
If I did not collect only Hot Wheels, Tomica would be my second choice brand, had a lot as a kid but very few left around in my stuff. Nice review of some great castings.
@@wtffor I have a tomica red London bus that I bought when I was camping. My camp site had a garage sale and the bus was INA box with other cars that I bought and its funny when I push it it turns and wobbles and falls over. Lol
+Paul Wooten (wrfcustoms) Thank you! I do have more videos coming of the other cases, I already have the Yatming one put together and just about ready for upload.
First time Ive seen one of your videos. Really good and very interesting commentary. I hate those silent videos or the ones with terrible music. Its always interesting to hear another collectors views and thoughts, I think. I am a collector of mostly old Matchbox Lesney but I dabble in many other makes. I have two mint boxed Tomica from the 1980's and about ten roughies. I would love to see a video of your old Matchbox stuff ( if you dont already have one) cheers from Australian collector.
Thanks for the comment, I hope you checked out a few of my other videos too. It's been a while since I made a dedicated vintage Matchbox and Lesney video... but I do have many of those old cars featured in my junkyard diorama videos. Search "diecast junkyard" and some of my videos are sure to pop up in your results, then you can see a lot of the old cars I have. Also, I show my wall display of Matchbox 1950 to 2007 in my latest "Hot Wheels Museum" tour video.
9:00 That car look like the Bugatti Royale. Only 6 of the real thing were made in the entire world. This luxury limoseen is also very rare and had a outragious value. I think over 100 million $ / piece today according to a local car tv show... And yeah that Tomica exemplar you have is very skinny. Otherwise realy nice cars! Especialy that airport truck at 13:56
As always great videos and very informative, just getting into this Tomicas but it's hard to find and expensive, will post some vids later with some of my Asian friends that have some of them. Thanks for sharing
13:11 Those are actually made by Zylmex (aka Zee Toys). They were from here in the USA (Long Beach, CA) You had the right idea putting them in there though, as Zylmex had a thing for ripping-off Tomica models in several instances. They went bankrupt early into the 1990's and I believe Motor Max bought them and all their tool & die molds, so you will see some Zylmex cars in Motor Max packages.
O. Dawg, it may have been said before but I enjoy your videos because I never felt I was able to compete against others. I gave up. I just watch your videos.
Did you hear that they are making a return in North America? The prices of the new stuff is going to be a little more expensive, Hope that means that they might sit on shelves longer than a few minutes lol. I have a few Tomicas, Tomica premiums (like regular Tomica but nicer and a bit more upmarket) and even a few Tomica Limited vintage cars which are quite pricey but so, so, so, so nice. Tomica Limited Vintage aren't rehashes of old castings (Tomica Limited was) But entirely new castings built to be true 1:64 and are crazily accurate but still have suspension like the old Tomicas. The photo I use as my avatar is of a Tomica Limited Vintage Prince Gloria Super Six.
Yes nice video, enjoy everyone. Do you sell any of your diecast. The reason I asked. In your haul stuff for March, I noticed you have a couple 1965 Ford falcon vans by M2. I got the Ford pickup as well as the Chev truck from that release but unfortunately every other one of them were gone. I would really like to purchase that one as well if I can find it. Thanks and again awesome videos
+Brad Medhurst Thanks for the question and comment Brad. The M2 ford falcon vans are tough to find in the stores as they get bought up quickly by collectors and scalpers, I bought the ones you see in my collection from sellers on ebay because I couldn't find them locally. I live in Canada and that makes it even tougher to find anything other then mainline Hot Wheels and Matchbox. I don't sell any cars, just a pure collector. Thanks for watching my videos and I hope you can hunt down the vans you are after... try ebay.
HOLY MOTHER MOLY HOLY SHAHAHAHAY SO MANY CARS! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I WISH I HAD SOMETHING NENER TO THAT I ONLY GOT 197 SOMEWHERE. SO COOL CARS. 'SPEACH LESS"! HOLY SHHSHHS. NICE CARS. I LOVE MATCHBOX!. COOL MAN. I WANT VINTAGE CARS. I GOT ONLY NEW AND A FEEW FROM 80'S AND ONE FROM 1940.
Thanks for the comment, and the extraordinary restraint on cuss words in favor of funny alternate and creative expressions! Much appreciated my friend!
Awsome Diecast Room! I'm a Van Collector & fellow TH-camr, i saw you dig out a case of Yatming Vans, i have a bunch of them as well. I would like to put in a request for you to show off your Yatming Vans! And if you could share any info on them or the Manufacturer that would be Great. As i have not been able to find much on my own searches of the internet.
+shnorth888 It was a popular car of the time, a lot of toy manufacturers mimicked that car. I remember the Majorette casting, it was about 1/59 scale, was it not? Nice model.
+wtffor Thank you for replaying , an example would be the 1969 chevelle , which brand is most realstic and depicts it with alot of details , Thank you !
Going back an watching some older videos an the only thing I can keep thinking of is why did you cut your hair! I know why you did but it still blows my mind because your hair was so awesome.
Dude! your trapped in your mancave. Call 911, call your mom, your barber and your therapist. Just make sure your wearing sun glasses when you finally come out.
awesome collection!! funny enough I picked up half a dozen vintage tomica's myself!!DAMN have you tried contacting Guinness world record for your size of collection?? +wtfforLoved the taxi's especially new crown, and the buses were cool too
+collectorsdream Congrats on getting a some Tommy's! I am pretty sure someone has me beat for the Guinness record, but then again, I should give them a call and find out for sure. Thanks for the comment my friend!
wtffor the only link I can find is the 20,000 cars by Mark but that was from 2011 I think .so I think you might have a chance. Will be cool if they come and look and count!!
Always preferred Tomica to other makers. Started buying them when I was a wee little boy. I always liked the Cadillacs and Rolls Royces over the hot rods. Tomica cars have an authenticity to them that some of the others dont have.
I still have my vintage 70's Tomica's....nicely detailed and they did some interesting vehicles that Matchbox and Hot Wheels wouldn't do....

I live in Canada and that makes it even tougher to find anything other then mainline Hot Wheels and Matchbox. I don't sell any cars, just a pure collector. Thanks for watching my videos and I hope you can hunt down the vans you are after... try ebay.
Amazing coolest thing I've seen you just need some stompers now lol

I would like to put in a request for you to show off your Yatming Vans! And if you could share any info on them or the Manufacturer that would be Great. As i have not been able to find much on my own searches of the internet.

The "airport luggage truck" isn't for luggage. It is a food truck, also known as a catering truck, it brings food and beverages to the aircraft
