Metallicas last two albums are.really good and are a return to their thrash sound of their first 4 albums. I am in Daytona Beach as we speak and seeing them tomorrow close the Welcome to Rockville festival- can’t wait to see The Warning and Metallica! Thanks for giving them a second chance. All Nightmare Long is a lot like this where it's a combination of a lot of the eras.
It's a bit short in lyrics, but the jam session on that breakdown after 2nd chorus.... That was the best use of Wah pedal Kirk ever did... It sounds so haunting....

Metallica has gone back to some of their roots. Death Magnetic and Hardwired to Self Destruct are amazing and can't wait to see their new one soon

Seriously hardwired album to me is comparable to master of puppets. And I saw them on the hardwired tour in 2018! They still kick ass live too! Metallica does what Metallica wants to do. They are on the closer side to 60 now! Love it- ive told my boys several times that I’m going to be that old person in a wheelchair in a home with my headphones on head banging to Metallica!

Yeah Im old school as well, but I bought this album to give it a try and was blown away. This isn't the only killer song on it either, listen to the whole thing.
Another song from this album that I think you'll love is Lords of Summer.

Try out hardwired and atlas rise for sure! I was amazed when I started the album and then I got to this song which is the last on a two disc album. What a way to end it.

I think of this song as Metallica’s span during the 80’s. It’s starts like Kill Em’ All and continues as Ride The Lightning, is about addiction and control (Master of Puppets), has a distorted bass solo (Cliff Burton), and is a bit overdone (…And Justice For All)

Should have reacted to the lyric video, the video takes away from listening to the music. It's distracting.
Every album is good except for st anger
I think if the songs were shorter it definitely would have been better, but still not great

He blew his voice out on the black album which technically is when he started his singing mode.
A lot of people think this is the best and heaviest song on the album. Makes me laugh. This song is weak and average compared to lots of others songs on the album. Here Comes Revenge is a zillion% heavier, darker and better then this.
