Growing up in Southern California I head them but seldom saw the X planes. The X15 was THE plane in my opinion. Thanks too for mentioning Pilot Engineer Scott Crossfield, one of my childhood heroes.

Great videos like always but please change the name of of your channel to something more inline with what it is you do. You would get a lot more views so more people could appreciate this history.
@25:13 - No, it doesn't say it beat the Americans by 30mph. It says that it beat it by 310mph !!!
