The only thing that I think could have been better is if the color for the glowing spikes was more vibrant cyan, it’s kinda of a greenish light blue color,

Granted, he had this look without the beam in the movie, but what was he doing in the movie for most of his screen time? SHOOTING THE ATOMIC BREATH Also, I didn't say the figure was trash. It's a very good figure. It's just that not having the beam effect substantially cripples the figure's value. The clawed hands are cool, but we also need the beam.
So I got mine and it's my first SH monster arts figure and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. They always look sturdy and well put together. This figure has nice sculpting, decent paint, but I don't like that I can see clean through it, his head pops off every time I try any pose besides neutral, and it feels like it'll just fall to pieces if I even look at it wrong. It's a nice enough toy, but I just feel $75.00 was steep for the quality. It felt more like a $25 toy. I like my Neca figures much more.

Will the NECA atomic blast part from their 2019 figure work with this figure? This will be my first s.h.monsterarts and hope to use its beam with him. I kinda wanted to get the monserarts 2019 version but I think Id rather spend that money on either Shin (I know its not the best, but I have the NECA one and really want the SMA for accuracy.) or the 2000 and paint the fins purple.

I decided to paint Godzilla’s mouth. Only where there was too much metallic blue on his upper and lower jaw on the outside.
They really did pull a diamond select with the acsosories

Probably because of the packaging being warm while shipping it sorta bent the plastic on the dorsal fins
