Agreed. Those first 30 seconds, you don't know if the boss is going to finish you off in the first blow, and it's just split second training that allows you to live long enough to continue fighting and doing this crazy dance.

I like how your version maintains the atmosphere of the original track, with the droning synth-bass as the foundation and the strings taking center-stage. A lot of covers/remasters seem to negate the industrial vibe the track exudes(SSBU version included) while yours captures it perfectly. Good attention to detail!

Also some of the other songs were not my favorite in the DKC trilogy and those really don't spark my interest to remake. This is why most of the songs I have posted are requested and both popular that way I am making an impact as well as growing my channel ;)

I agree that the original theme is really good, but this rendition doesn't do a bad job. The part done with the guitar, in particular, is effectively melancholic, and the base throughout the track is appropriately heavy. The noises in the background are a nice touch, as well.

Yeah, I like the original a lot as well, it certainly was ahead of its time. Quite frankly, some of the other classic stage compositions from DK2 are ahead of it's time as well.

If I have a criticism with these, you’re really slow with the K.Rool themes. Something about them feels slowed down compared to the originals. Otherwise these are some of the best DKC remixes I’ve heard
