- During a House Oversight Committee, Democrats and Republicans came for each other after Marjorie Taylor Greene insulted Democrat Representative Jasmine Crockett, making a jab about her eyelashes.
Later in the committee hearing Ms Crockett sent a broadside back, suggesting MTG had a "bleach blonde, bad built, butch body."

If we acted like this at our jobs we would be fired. I'm embarrassed for them. It doesn't matter who started it; be better and don't stoop to the level of bullies. There was a lack of emotional self control and class from both sides in this ridiculous exchange. Additionally, the chairman had no control over the situation. People in the US are struggling in so many ways and this is what is happening in our capital.

I don't think he had a clue of what he had to do and that that person had to leave the session. He's got less idea of how to run the house than I do as someone from the UK.
