Doris, I painted by craft foam Navy because I could not find it either. I just rolled the paint on a blue base with a brayer. Light coats.

@@PattiJGood oh I make all your gnomes (except the dog). I have a Chihuahua. Lol. Can't wait for the next one!!!! Oh I wanted to ask you about the paint on the foam. Did you use spray paint or watered down acrylic paint? I am exactly the same as you, colors have to match. LOL
I spritzed the foam with water, rubbed the paint on with a paper towel and them used a brayer to smooth it our.
