Obviously I'm biased here as a Twins fan who loves Royce, but there is a 0% chance they make that move winning the division. Especially eating money? If they are doing it to save money long term they are never eating any money on this deal. Also when you say not a major player on the team that's kinda dishonest in my opinion, .1 war away from second on the team in 2 months? And the youngest player they have extended on a fairly team friendly deal? That's the main part of the moving forward core and they aren't moving him.
the money part especially. i could see it more straight up.... i should've just done it 1-for-1 to keep better realism. as you could tell from the video, i reeeaallllyy hemmed & hawed on the decision
I'm fine with it. Mainly because his ratings in game are just good. He's better IRL. I haven't seen Royce be amazing in game. Only average to good. So I wouldn't change anything fine trade!
