Japanese courts with their 99% conviction rate. They WANT that guilty verdict. Whether you actually did the crime or not is just an inconvenience. Edit: my bad, I was actually too low. It's actually 99.8%.
This is what makes Strikers so different from the canon P5 game Because instead of the villians being heartless tyrants, they’re misguided people who truly started with good intentions, but lost their way The Monarchs are way more sympathetic to the players because they actually have solid reasons and backstories of why they ended up like that, instead of the lousy ones the Palace Owners had Heck, even the PTs sympathize with them at the end, something they had never done before in previous games It’s such a shame that Strikers is getting a lot of shade. This kind of storytelling and character development was fantastic
Couldn't agree with you more. Strikers in my opinion had a much better story and set of villians than Persona 5 had. Not counting Royal because the big villian in that is fantastic.
I feel like if Persona 5 Royal didn’t cut one of its scenes involving will seeds. Apparently will seeds were supposed to show you when each palace leader became fully corrupted, aka the one I saw was Kamoshida getting away with his crime the first time just because he was an Olympic gold medalist and it fueled him to continue to do more heinous acts. Basically it would help fill in the blanks on why everyone became so corrupt Aka an scene showing Madarame losing his artistic skills finding Yusukes mom dying and clutching her baby and taking away both the painting and her boy as she lay dying. The only one I actually saw was Kamoshida’s and the only other one really in game you partially see is Futaba’s, with royal Marukis whole palace focuses on his backstory. I feel if each final will seed gotten showed you when each villain was corrupted would help an lot and not make them feel so bland after the third one (minus Futaba and Sae since you know they are good people, Futaba is dealing with Trauma and Sae is dealing with personal issues due to her dads death leading her to change her entire mindset
@@rontheauraknight9606 one problem that I could see coming from Will Seeds revealing the villains’ backstory is that it might cause the Thieves to be unable to keep their composure, which could either draw suspicion to them, or cause them to try to kill the Monarch. Ann and Ryuji already hate Kamoshida, so seeing memories of him getting away with being a sleaze might cause them to actually try to kill him. Plus, Yusuke seeing a memory of his mother dying might lead him to suspect that Madarame had something to do with her death, and since he was living with Madarame up until his confession, he probably would’ve started behaving “strangely” in the real world once he saw those memories.
