I pretty much have the same problems with the game you did. Mainly, tokens/money don't feel intuitive, and the event card setup numbers made the game feel longer than it needed to. That said, it's a very unique game. I need to play it more to see if it stays, but I can at least say I personally had fun. Thanks for the video and glad it got a serenade, gives me hope it'll get better with more plays haha!

I wonder if the game would work okay without the screens for the first teach. I too am worried that people will screw up the binary addition and subtraction. I really think they should have just used something more conventional, like a simple linear track, or maybe something similar to the binary counting board, but instead have columns for 1s, 5s, and 10s

A lot of the Game is the intrigue so I don’t think it would work that well. But I’ve found if when teaching the Game you stress the importance of keeping track and you teach it without The shield both going Up and down and crossing zero in both directions that the grasp it.

Agreed. Although I guess anyone not able to handle that part will likely not enjoy the game anyway!?

The logo is definitely a riff on BP's logo, but I'm sure the name is a riff on Standard Oil
